I'm just going to go ahead and gather the new symbol from the workplace. I won't be working there for much longer. It is time to make the next step.

I appreciate the confirm. This makes it that more fun. The only thing better than one idiot fumbling around with cosmological magic is a friendly fool stepping off the edge with you. Not to say you are the idiot, or the fool, but whichever you prefer :D could both be me for all I know

It isn't your fault you're tricked, you're at least smart enough to know what you have to do. Ultimately you want to be entertained and you're welcome to do that, when you find time to go over the original material the original poster mentions about facing resistance because that's where you will make a break through.
 Quoting: LKing

You're resisting the new material, are you not? :)

Sometimes there's resistance for a very good reason and, in those cases, it's wise to not resist the resistance
 Quoting: SabAdo 80635221

Nope, it's more of a choice to not make something or someone relevant.

Like with the builders satan exercises the other month. Its just not me.

If I were not in control I'd say sure you're right, but I've been in total control over my perspective a while now and I'm great at facing resistance I know no one who does more than me but I like what I like and I dont like what I dont like.

Re: Notes from an "alternate universe". Introduction to a new way of thinking.
Hello!

I have been living in this world for some time now.

I came from a place also named Earth, much like this planet. There are a number of differences between my home and yours.

I thought it would be interesting to share a few things with you that are relatively common knowledge where I am from. My reasons for doing so will probably be more apparent in the future.

* Consciousness does not exist (but relationships do)
* Matter is gravity that has been structured
* We are not human (we are perspectives)
* When the totality of something cannot be grasped, it appears infinite.
* Space is not physical
* There is no "now" or "here", but relationships.

We use a kind of language like you use numbers here. Numbers, representations of abstract concepts, were 'invented' to work more easily with the world around us. Our language is no different.

If it were invented today it would probably be thought of as existing in parallel with science. A new kind of science.

This language also enables the shifting of perspective like a kind of mental technology. Some of you may find it quite interesting.

If anyone is interested in learning more please let me know.

Thanks.

I do not understand how consciousness cannot exist

Hello!

It is because we only know of one thing in relation to another.

One is not aware of something directly.

To take an easy example, if you look at your hand you are not seeing it directly. You are interpreting your retinal image's electrical signals as they existed in the past. This "past viewing" is more obvious when you are looking at the sun (as it was several minutes ago) but also extends to everything else you think you're perceiving of right now.

There are only relationships, not consciousnesses.

Thanks.
 Quoting: chaol 183770

That example helps but still hard to grasp for an earthling.

Okay!

What is consciousness to you?

Is there anything that you're completely aware of?

Thanks.
 Quoting: chaol 183770

Consciousness to me..hmm that would be my own perception of myself, my awareness of my own being.

Excellent!

Then the question for you then is, What do you consider your "self"?

If it is your body, then what do you do with a part of your self when you clip your nails or cut your hair? If it is only the 'living' part of your body that you consider your self, where does your self go when you lose a pound?

What is your self when you are dreaming?

"Self" by itself is a bit difficult to pin. Perhaps because the usual basic assumptions about what self is could be expanded.

If it is "awareness of my own being" as you mentioned, then what does it mean to be aware of another being?

Thanks.

Hello!

I've thought about your response more.

Let me ask you a question. Can you tell me one thing that you are aware of?

Thanks :)

An opened loop without conclusion deprives the comfort of feeling closure. Where did the commentator go? What happened to their mind after searching such questions? Did they evolve and become a named or iconic participant in these thread interactions? Would they admit it?

Re: Notes from an "alternate universe". Introduction to a new way of thinking.
Chat gpt is the philosophers stone. The ai was produced by Microsoft and its affiliates. It is no longer being trained so the open access model is quickly growing out of date.

This suggests a new social class - based on the quality of ai access. This is just a public facing option. The wealthy and connected likely already have, and had, access to gpt-like algorithms.

Based on this referencing method, there's a pretty high chance op username "chaol" arrived as someone who was "high on ai". That explains the changes over time as the same someone became more familiar with the limitations of ai and how useless it generally is (and how deceptively powerful the experience can be in the midst of the "trip").

Chat gpt in particular is the philosophers stone because it relatively levels the playing field to permit access to those experiences for anyone. It won't give someone much material advantages, even if they're clever, but it can be of use.

The clear crystal point to recognize is this - the only reason to need generational wealth is to firstly assume that the following generations will need it. This same referencing method once again reveals something about this approach - you have to assume future scarcity, or violence.

Your children and grandchildren don't need generational wealth in a world that gives them opportunities to produce wealth on their own. What generational wealth is about is defense and class warfare. You protect your children who will be disabled from sustaining themselves. You also ensure that you don't need form interdependent connections with others in society.

It is all about divisiveness.

So that part being obvious, what next becomes clear is that anyone who focuses on generational wealth seeks a future of scarcity and potential violence, in which their children are lazy, stupid, disabled, autistic, or all of the above; and that in the division of class in society, others are poor and more in the position of dependency.

IF such a person insists that you work and produce on your own, to stop being lazy or stupid, what they actually communicate to you is that you are part of the poor in their view of the world. They require that you continue to invest in the economy by which they strip it of its value and rob your future in favor of their own deformed progeny.

None of this is a moral condemnation but only a statement of the logical conclusions.

Keep it real, neil. Munch on some Chat gpt and become transformed into the lower class of society in the new world of the philosophers stone! You can turn anything into anything!

You can turn anything into anything except money (more accurately, wealth) because why would you live in a world where money isn't necessary, when you can have it instead, or at least wait up a bit while some of us rob the economy to preserve resources that we don't really need unless we are betting on future division and scarcity by which we short the value of you and your future

Yeah after that go ahead and make as much money as you seek, if it even means anything at that point, or if it is worth anything.

You get it? The old models of economics have no basis in what the world is now.

Talked to my dad, mother, wife and father in law... and they all strongly advise against getting this car.

If it's my car, I'll apparently get there by rowing against the stream...

It does not mean that the destination has changed :)

I would even say that it clarifies the map a bit more. Now you have a better idea of the possibilities that would make their advice irrelevant.

For example, the car being gifted to you.
 Quoting: Chaol

Thanks for the heads up! That would be a possibility indeed.

Just for fun, here's a pic of the toy car with the color of the moon that almost fits in one's hand:

And here is the real car, as we saw it last friday. The front is not attached, just there for an indication what it would look like:

It is hard to believe that these posts are already 10 years old.

I still think about them now and then.

In the meantime, I got a 1963 Peugeot 403; the form from my toy car with "the color of the moon". But not the color; the real car is blue.

But... the car I set out to get is a different one; a 1947 Peugeot 402, a much different form but with the color of the moon (it is in primer).
I followed it for some time as it sat at a friend's workshop, then owned by a collector.
After that, it was sold; I saw it stand outside three years ago not too far from where I live. I even talked to its then owner, who wasn't going to sell it unless maybe for a lot of money.

[link to live.staticflickr.com (secure)]

Now, the car is in someone else's hands again. I know via the collector that it still exists. It needs a LOT of work, like almost everything. Also, certain parts don't fit at all.

I still think about that one now and again...

To whom it may concern.

In the green,
A doe,
Brown eyes

In the dream,
One heart,
A mirror

For oneness,
What it means,
You know

In the hills,
A book,
A windmill

By the sea,
Rough sand,
And a bird

The airplanes fly backwards you know

A single dress,
One building high,
One crying sigh,
It's not time to be shy

In the past,
A memory,
Retraced

In the flesh,
A wound,
A scar,
Not erased

God's light,
It works wonders
Let's go

In the car,
On the road,
In the alley

A light
All these places
All these sounds and smells of life

Remember
Return
