Interesting.

But how does one navigate?

by way of their inner authority

By telling oneself where to go?
 Quoting: The Builder

It is not an eloquently pleasing and intellectually stimulating conversation.

Not in this body.

In another body, it may be different but I have no idea what that’s like.

For this one, it goes: suffering or closure.

The trick of the mind is “learning” by spending time suffering.

But there is nothing to learn what is already known.

Closure is satisfying. Satisfaction is the foundation of good things. For example, people like pleasure.

Is there such a thing as dissatisfying pleasure? Meaning that, at the end of it is only dissatisfaction?

Yeah there is such a thing.

Satisfaction is more important. With satisfaction you could touch the corner of a bookshelf and experience an unguent sensation.

You could be the swell of your very own heartbeat and it is like an orgasm. Breathless!

You know women supposedly experience full body orgasms? I bet it feels amazing. Just having sensitive skin is pretty interesting all on its own. Feeling the cold like liquid air. Air moving on the skin.

I recently went to my old notes and found a synopsis for a story. I like the idea. Maybe I’ll write it.

Re: Notes from an "alternate universe". Introduction to a new way of thinking.
I used to know someone who liked to skip ahead while reading a book. I could never understand it, then. I thought - what’s the point of reading it if you already know what’s going to happen?

But at a later point I understood why they did it. It’s because they understood that a story with an unhappy ending is not worth reading.

And even myself, I discovered that there was something comforting about rereading my favorite books. With a brain like mine, I was even able to “un-know” what was going to happen.

At this time i am finally starting to understand what I want. What I want. Not what my network wants or my family wants or even my dog wants.

My desire.

The end.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74533487

It's nice that you see that. Many people can't understand it. They are told it's bad.

I suppose it's all in your experience of "me"

But seriously. This is valor.

Sure, it's good to have some who stay in the back to keep the stragglers hanging in there. I saw this in the church and in the military.

But from a personal perspective sometimes you can't help everyone, sometimes you can only help yourself.

For some people it's easier to cut connections and move on alone. It's way harder to keep those connections going, even knowing that in the meantime those connections might bring pain or sadness.

And then going back to help them. Because you can. Maybe they're already goners, but if they are still there perhaps something can be done.

That is a worthy example, in my view.

Valor.

Relax man your boy isn't talking about the boy. I think he's basically saying a good leader knows whatsup ahead so he's at an appropriate point in time adjusted for the pace of the whole
And if the leader cannot get the whole to get the message what does that say about him? Also you have to take the level of the whole in general some people wouldn't make it onto my team

they wanna make up bs about others and put up fronts like it even matters, well i derive some amusement doing it to them, right back at them

but what i wrote about valor is for real. not trying to mix those things up in regards to sincerity.....in any case

with closure, a thing like that. A quote comes to mind something an old man once told me, he said

"I am happy to see you arrive, I will be happier to see you leave."

In other words at some point I will not return and I am not a valorous person like in the example I described. If I could be I would be. But I'd rather have meaningful relationships in a concrete, tangible, real way.

I'm sure many can relate to that. "Happy you're here, but happier that you're free." I sure hope it's like that.

Not that it matters all that greatly, but I'll find the sweet spot with patience.

Well, I like to work that way too, with my words, making people think.

My points were
1 - If a leader can't get his point across to the group he is leading then what does that say about the leader.
2 - The level of a group of this supposed leader says a lot about the leader.
3 - Some people in this group wouldn't make it into my team.

Oh but I remembered the purpose of closure. It was to resolve grudges, to not be transporting latent animosity to anywhere it has no business being.

It is a logistical enterprise for this body, and since I personally (personally, not my body) prefer the boredom of no strings attached (hurray for singlez life) this is the task.

What a man's gotta do.

Attain to closure like a woman. Indeed.

What. a. life.

99% of the time my favorite thing about you is that you talk to me straight and don't waffle around an issue but for this one I would have liked to get to the end of the lesson without being told the answer in advance.

Just this once, even if perhaps I don't deserve such a privilege. As it so happens, deservance (or undeservance) doesn't change my preferences for what attracts me.

Because that is the only - practical - way to realize my ideal which is treating others how they wish to be treated. If everyone is following the golden rule, then I know.

It’s almost too simple to notice.
