Astronomy's Best Kept Secret-
I don't know much about physics, but I found the theory interesting.

hmm, that was interesting. I like the part of the event horizon 13.7 billion light years away, beyond which we will never see anything because it is moving away from us faster than the speed of light...

Seems possible to me. I don't think we will ever really understand the universe. Our minds are too small.

Re: Astronomy's Best Kept Secret-
It's possible, but doesn't really change much in the science theories about the universe, only adds to them.. so no reason to be 'kept secret'.

I wonder if due to the fact that time flows differently in strong gravity wells, if such discrepancies might not be an indication that some stars in heavy gravity wells have a slower flowing time, whereas others which might have spent a considerable amount of time away from any such thing would appear to be older than everything else.

Maybe in the distant past some stars formed in mini-galaxies which were later absorbed by bigger ones, causing such things.. Or maybe the article the short video is based on was based on miscalculations and the stars in question are not in fact that old

Science is always changing, which is why I love it so. It doesn't "believe" it's right, per se. It's sort of a "what this is.. is the best we have at the moment".

If this theory is indeed true, I wonder how much would be effected?

Our understanding of the Universe is constantly changing, but one thing remains constant, none of the so called theories concocted by so called superior intellects ever pan out. We're not supposed to understand it, and like a monkee trying to figure out how how to make an atom bomb we never will.

The video is flawed from the beginning because it adheres to the Big Bang theory that we all know is BS, and has been proven bogus since the discovery of the Quasars that simply make Hubble's equation a wrong assumption.

Quasars don't follow Red Shift = Red shift is an Erroneous interpretation = Big Bang is a shit theory = there is no such a thing as Dark Matter nor dark energy.

The Universe is 99% plasma, which is ionic and magnetic, so insisting that gravity, a much more weaker force than electromagnetism, is the sole force behind the shape of the universe is simply stupid.

Right, but according to the gentleman in the video, the widely accepted theory that is the "Big Bang" is flawed, even with it being so highly agreed upon. I don't really agree with the Big Bang myself, but I found this interesting.

What I believe personally based on the well established pattern in astrophysics is that we never will know, only think we do and find out later we were wrong. The secrets of the creation of the universe and the nature of it's existance were never meant for us to know, because if we did we'd be on a par with the creator, which is illogical to assume is ever possible. As for astophysics, we don't know anything , it's all theoretical. In my experience it's ignorance in a constant state of flux. One thing I can tell you is that the big bang theory is a desperate lie, and the desperation lies in finding another explaination besides an intelligent design. One of the most illogical claims preached by science [and science is a religion of denial] is that the universe was formed by an accident of nature, that the complex design and interactions is all a big accident. These astrophysicists don't know anything , and any claim that they do is dubious , decpetive, and self promoting.
You will live and die without knowing the truth about your own existance, which the nature of the universe would reveal.

 Quoting: nomind

Gravity and time are inseperable in all logical theories, even the most speculative cosmological renderings. Like this one: gravity is caused by the current of the universe iterations itself flooding from the future created at infinite expanse AND flooding out toward the past toward the one infinitesimal singularity that happens to be engaged in infinite geometric kinetics which produces the illusion that there is an infinite number of infinitesimal singularities throughout 3D.
