Let's stick to facts and not spin here.

We need to get government out of health care and stop all tax deduction spent on health care. We can not have reform and subsidize the unrestrained spending in health care.

My mother just got a bill in the mail for 650$ for a simple eye exam. 44 of which was her co-pay, weird.

I'm for healthcare reform.

We pay more per capita for health care than any other developed country and yet we get less for that money than any other developed country. We live in a society where you can get health insurance when you are healthy but get cut off when you get sick. Millions are without health insurance and health care and millions of others lose everything they own and go bankrupt due to medical costs when they fall ill.

The Republicans blocked the Clintons' universal healthcare initiative and then did nothing so that the problem became a national crisis.

I see the choice now as being between the Democrats' efforts, which at flawed and screwed up plans, and the Republicans' efforts, which amount to exactly zero -- total negligence.

As bad as it is in this issue, the Democrats' leadership is the only leadership out there!

Somebody has to do something because our medical system has become a problem and a drag on our economy that is destroying lives.
