The Day The Pentagon Was Supposed to Lift Off Into Space




On Saturday, October 21, 1967, Washington, D.C., was rocked by a mass gathering. At least 100,000 people streamed into the nation’s capital that autumn weekend, most of them college-age men and women, many of them students eligible for the military draft, all there to protest the Vietnam War. At the time, about 500 soldiers were dying in Vietnam every month, and more and more Americans were coming to dispute President Johnson’s resolve to prosecute the war to a successful conclusion. That weekend crowds of antiwar activists and GIs met face-to-face, and history was made.

The activities of October 21 and the surrounding days were planned and organized by the National Mobilization Committee to End the War in Vietnam, a loose coalition of groups ranging from religious organizations to the leftist Students for a Democratic Society. Saturday’s march on the Pentagon, however, was largely the creation of one man, David Dellinger, who edited a radical journal called Liberation. With the help of the Berkeley activist Jerry Rubin, Dellinger planned to hold a huge rally on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial before leading the assembled demonstrators across the Potomac to take up a position outside the Pentagon. Why the Pentagon, and not the White House or the Capitol? Because Rubin insisted that the Defense Department held the real reins of power.

As the date approached, President Johnson consulted extensively with Attorney General Ramsey Clark about the possibility of civil unrest. Concerned about violent subversives and Communist agitators, Johnson ordered an increased military presence in the capital and even considered surrounding the White House with soldiers. He ultimately had 3,000 troops, mostly military police, and 1,800 National Guardsmen secure the Pentagon. On the antiwar side, Dr. Benjamin Spock, Rev. William Sloane Coffin, of Yale University, and the novelist Norman Mailer prepared to be among the demonstrators. Mailer would later win a Pulitzer prize for his account of the protest, The Armies of the Night.

On the day of the demonstration 100,000 people gathered before the Lincoln Memorial. After hours of speeches, including one by Spock declaring “the enemy is Lyndon Johnson,” roughly half of them headed across the Potomac toward the Pentagon. Walking across Arlington Memorial Bridge, they came to a halt before the headquarters of the U.S. military. Soldiers of the 82nd Airborne Division stood before them. Initially, and for much of the afternoon, the demonstration at the Pentagon was nonviolent. The activists staged sit-ins, sang songs, chanted antiwar slogans, and waved flags. The day’s most famous image is that of a Berkeley radical who called himself “Super Joel” approaching an armed soldier and slipping a flower into the barrel of his gun. Many of his fellow protesters followed suit.

But the day was not destined to end peacefully, and by nightfall the Pentagon steps were stained with blood. As the afternoon wore on, some activists became increasingly combative, hurling insults at the soldiers and pitching rocks through the building’s windows. The protest assumed an intentionally absurd character early on, with Abbie Hoffman, co-founder of the Yippies, promising to levitate the Pentagon into the air, and Allen Ginsberg, the beat poet, leading Tibetan chants in the hope of accomplishing exactly that feat. Ed Sanders led his band the Fugs in an “exorcism” of the building, calling on “the demons of the Pentagon to rid themselves of the cancerous tumors of the war generals.” But the demonstration intensified beyond those eye-catching theatrics. At several points in the afternoon, large groups of demonstrators, including one crowd numbering around 3,000, tried to break through police lines. One small group actually succeeded in entering the Pentagon. They were quickly roughed up by Pentagon security and arrested, but their entry was surely worrisome to Defense Secretary Robert S. McNamara, who watched the day’s events unfold from his office window.

When the protesters’ 48-hour permit expired, police quickly dispersed most of them. By the end of the weekend, approximately 680 protesters had been jailed. Nearly 50 had been hospitalized, along with some two dozen soldiers and marshals. However, the chants sung outside the Pentagon that day echoed long after their singers left the capital. Despite the carnival-like atmosphere of much of the proceedings, the discussion over American involvement in Vietnam certainly intensified afterwards, with ever greater numbers of citizens questioning Johnson’s leadership. Some GIs began to sympathize more with the antiwar movement than with their military superiors. The weekend after the march, Democratic Congressman Morris Udall, who would one day run for President himself, reversed his previously staunch support for his own party’s foreign policy. Daniel Ellsberg, a Pentagon employee who watched the protests from inside the building, began questioning the war more intensely; later he would make public the Pentagon Papers, a set of documents that revealed the shocking inner workings of the U.S. war effort.

A weekend of both dead seriousness and utter sillinesss left an entire nation surprised, disturbed, and debating.

The Plan

Fire the Grid is all about waking humanity up so that we become conscious individual cells of light. Each cell of light radiates not only in itself, but for others as well. Fire the Grid III was about raising your own frequency, finding that moment of joy and giving gratitude, As each of our fields lit up, we plugged into the grid and tapped into the energy system of the planet, essentially raising our hands and saying "I'm here". My beings have told me conclusively that they can see us now and that there are enough of us.

The second phase is called Fire the Grid II, and it is about using the power of "I" to unite once again to become "WE". Just as with the first event, there is a corresponding date and time which have been given to me by my Light Beings. Much has transpired since that momentous day, and roughly 24 months later, there will again be incredibly powerful energy available for all humans to utilize on a new date. The energy I speak of is our own love energy we used on the first FTG event.



On July 17th 2007 at 11:11 GMT, a Cosmic opening rained down a living, highly charged force full of awakening potential. It was infused with Source energy and it was available to all humans who wished to draw it to them. We are conduits, antennas if you will, and we accepted this energy, drew it into us, passing it through us into the water system in the earth below us. At the same time, the love energy of acceptance and joy and gratitude that we¹ve nurtured and stored while the energy passed through us also passed through us into the water. The water system then took that energy throughout the planet and began a healing. It was to flow through the planet for a year and then to travel to Brazil where it is housed in a crystal bed under Brazil. Crystal is alive, an entity in itself and could even house one of us. This crystal bed has been housing the energy since July 17th 2008. It has been pulsating out its potential from its resting place under Brazil and this July, it will be ready to be released. This energy simply cannot stay here as there is an imbalance, so it must return to Source. As we all will someday. There is balance in everything.

See it, believe it then create it.

The energy of Fire the Grid is ready to go home and the skies are open for the delivery. We can once again draw the energy of the day through us and pass it onward to Creation. This is the energy of pure potential, pure love, pure abundance and of pure creative ability. This is the united energy of millions of humans concentrating on one purpose for one hour as one mind. This is very powerful manifesting ability.

I have been told to unite humanity again for one hour of time. We will sit in contemplation of the world that will be. This is an hour of earthly creation with the highest degree of pure intention. Now see abundance for everyone, see people smiling, happy, well fed, well cared for. See humans sharing and cooperating. What does that look like you ask? Simply imagine it. Really see it in your mind. The imagination is the paintbrush of our creations. See it here during this very special energy time. See it here and dream it into being. We will collectively see it and dream it into being. Remember you are not alone, there are millions of us intending this new world into place.

Now put details into your dream, see all of the beauty you desire. Add color and delight. The more detailed your dream, the more tangible we make our intention. See the people of the world living in harmony not only with each other but with the planet itself. See engineering taking a turn to work with nature for the betterment of both all humanity and the earth itself, working together for the betterment of all. People all sharing in a plan to challenge the old ideas and incorporate new, better, healthier ideas. The winds of change can be directed and this is our opportunity to consciously choose that direction. It is the time of a great gathering, a uniting of minds to create a better way, a way without exclusion. We can change the world. It begins with our hearts and minds.

It is up to each individual to find the way to incorporate living with purity of intention everyday.

Wow! It took a long time to get through a short thread.

This is a very important thread. I'm glad I caught it in time so I can change my plans for the day.

Those that oppose this are either living in fear, or paid to fight against it. Look at those who are opposing this thread. Their arguements are weak and poorly constructed. That's because there is no good rebuttle to the underlying message.

Nonetheless to love yourself is to love the whole so those who are participating in the firing of the grid should also be cognizant of unconditional love for the whole. 645078, thank you for your words. They were spot on. Lotus Feet, thank you as well though I was extremely surprised to read some of the things you wrote. Actually more than that, I was shocked. Regardless, you are loved equally.

Send your light to the dark.....they need it. I used to despise the dark forces. The very first time I sent them light via meditation, I was scared. But as time grew on, and the more I practiced this, the more an amazing feeling came with it. It's actually quite amazing.

Those who are spreading the message of the light are here for a specific reason. At the same time we fire the grid, fire the grid for all of existence. In essence, it's the very same thing as the entire Creation is all one.

No one controls your intention. Period. When you give it up freely, then it can be controlled. 9/11 was an emotional energy giving event. We gave our energy to them. This is not as it is by free will to the individual. Your intentions cannot be manipulated unless you allow them to be.

Your second sentence is the exact poorly constructed arguement I spoke of. You start of by saying unemotionally and logically (which I'm doing right now) consider....x,y,and z. Then you enforce your "opinion" in the second sentence by saying "which it obviously is" as a manner in which should tell the reader what to believe instead of discerning for themselves. Very similar to the manner in which all opposition is posting in this thread.

People are playing with energies they don't understand, and unless someone has the training, the temperance and the detachment of spirit necessary, they invite all sorts of entities that they have no defenses against. This fire the grid experiment is just an exercise in energetic vampirism of the most vulnerable. It is like lambs lining up for the sacrifice, singing Kumbaya while each waits his turn. You can wave crystals and light in the face of darkness, and convince yourself of a lot of feel good rhetoric, but I assure you that unless you are a seasoned practitioner, you will begin to feel depleted within months of partaking in the firing of the grid. Expect lots of upheavals in your lives.

It's not about good people or bad people. There are metaphysical laws, and they have nothing to do with good or evil. Light and darkness exist as a part of the same absolute. They are only separated in human terms into polarities because it is the only way for a human to comprehend parts of the whole. It is all about energy and power, and what the fire the grid proposes engages raw energy, which I am willing to bet 99% of the people participating are strong enough and have the sobriety to handle. Unless you are absolutely distraction free, as long as your wishes and thoughts have any human attachment, you are calling dark forces. Simple as that. Even if all but 1 person was pure enough to withstand the exercise, the mundane attachments of that one person could compromise any benefits. That's the problem with feel good new age bullcrap. It is not based on real understanding, it is usually "channeled" through some incarnate being or alien and people think that all they need to do is think nice thoughts. Maybe your "nice thoughts" are not in harmony with the universe or with the healthy flow of energies. You people have no idea what you are playing around with. Don't be surprised if there is a major earthquake to the tune of 8 within 3 months of doing this.
