Sometimes the way of old has to be given to the ways of the new...

www.mygreenheaven.org some people need it more than others for medical purposes. I can say that it has been the greatest thing to happen in my life. As a disabled us army ranger i been on pills and tried to end this life then found marijuana and was told it would destroy my life.. well 8 years later i am only smoking pot and no other meds, i was told i would have to take all these crazy pills for the rest of my life and low and behold i only smoke pot now gret it is...

Yes, I believe our government of crooks and thieves would make excellent pot drug distrubutors, as if they haven't had any practice in it before. They could take lessons from professional thugs and sellers, even have some seminars on how to sell, size up your buyer and market.
There could be corner stores, drive throughs and Amazon type sights.

Yeah, I think that is about the right path for our country to go down right now, we aren't already in hell and a handbasket,

yeah while we are at it, lets business's like "Suicide is us", a compassionate and caring place for the end of your days.
"Hump your Bump", You got women problem? Well we got the women for you, and they ain't got no problem.

Both these services will be tax deductible, since you would be contributing to a government subsidized program that meets the need both in employment for those 'hard to employ', and will be non-profit organizations controlled and run by the government.

I don't know, I'm just saying.

Does this country and its brain dead people really need something legal to make them MORE brain dead?

California is so broke that their mouths are watering just over the tax revenue that would be generated from legalizing pot, which every American knows should never have been criminalized in the first place, thank henry anslinger for that one. you could make so much money just off of the things you could make with hemp not to mention the whole good for the environment thing.

I have 11 1/2 acres of ag-exempt pasture that I would LOVE to convert to growing that, were it legal. I imagine it would be subsidized under current administration handout policies.

My current work duties prohibit my consumption of illegal mind-altering substances (and rightly so), but were it legal, I might consider moving my horses to the back pasture permanently.

Does this country and its brain dead people really need something legal to make them MORE brain dead?

I think pot is used incorrectly in this society. Pot is not evil, anymore then a gun is evil, its how its used or abused.
My brother was a notorious pothead, as was my husband for a while.
My husband cleaned up his act after I threatened to leave him with the kids. (small kids).
He spent time by himself, smoking in the barn.
We would see very little of him, and he spoke very little to us or reacted to anything or anyone. He got nothing done. His relationship was nill with me and his kids. I had enough. He had to make a decision. I also told him if he kept it up, eventually his children would catch him. And did he want to deal with that, and how long before they would be doing it behind our backs?
He put all drugs away and stopped. It was very very hard for him, he had done it since highschool and dabbled in other 'harder' things also.
Over the years he regrets that he ever did pot, and he hates the months he gave up of time he could have spent with me and the kids. Not to mention the money.
He probably has blown some brain cells, he is a little slow about some things, and i often wonder if its from the drugs he did. Pot mainly.

My brother on the otherhand, didn't give it up for years and years. He got divorced, his oldest son who he did it infront of, became a high school drop out drug juvie. He married another woman, had several kids, still did his drugs, and is as mean and as hateful as ever. He did stop his drugs recently, but not after he has ruined these three children. He laughs about it, pride won't let him regret or repent, but he knows. He wonders where his oldest son is, (won't have anything to do with him), he second son is gay and left the home, hating both his parents, and the two youngest struggle passing school, hating my brother and his mom, because they are just mean, and my brother's brain damage from the drugs make him hard to be around.

yeah, pot sucks.

Maybe pot for people with glucoma or other health issues, otherwise, not so good.

I have seen nothing good from smoking pot, or a pot head, have you?

Cali ought to not only legalize it for their residents, they ought to become the "Amsterdam of America" and open sales up to THE WORLD. Imagine the profits just from the sale... but imagine the profits as people fly or drive in from all over and spend while they're in state on things unrelated - food, gas, hotels, Disneyworld (how could you get baked and NOT go there for a day? lol)...

We Americans just aren't very bright, are we... alcohol is a bazillion times worse for society than marijuana could EVER BE. Brilliant!

And alchol abuse does nothing but kill people in this country, why would we want another vice legal in this country?
For money? So our country will be defined by the corruption we can make available to other countries for a profit?

Our country is full of brain dead people who need to wake up. The last thing we need are more people, numbed down from reality and whats going on and being done TO US by our government, numbed by pot.

We need to be sober and wise.
We don't need pot to be legal except for those who need it for medicane.

It will really put our country in the toilet I think if we legalize it.
Sick, sick.

You're obv another one who's obviously NEVER TRIED SMOKING WEED.

But your mindset wouldn't ever allow you to enjoy it anyway, you're so uptight and highstrung, I've seen your type a million times. This argument falls on deaf ears in your case.

YOu can see the forest ("alcohol does nothing but kill people") but you can't see the trees (i.e. joints).

Just because something is legalized doesn't mean you HAVE TO DO IT, by the way. But you still benefit - we remove have the prison population in America with a huge taxpayer cost savings for that... just to name one benefit.

You're right though, money should not be a factor here... we're flush with money in the country at the moment!!!

So in the land that first demonized having a cigarette or an after dinner cigar in a restaurant and now even outdoors, is going to let people smoke pot! Where are they supposed to do that if "smoking" just about anywhere is illegal?

Going to have drop that law.

At least the rest of us will be able to say good-bye to all the anorectic, skin and bones people out there because they will all get fat from the munchies.

Unless, of course, they legalize cocaine and crack to kill their increased appetite.

Just legalize it all, including brothels and tax and put a 100% tax on everything including the seeds to grow your own.
