The thought of immortal life in one single body would be like living HELL. I think it could be kinda neat. Maybe having the option to "shut down" would be to your liking? I think we already have that "option" built-in. Born into this World We create echoes of our inward yearnings And Shift along the Axis From matter to Spirit - Scott Mutter |

A few guys have come back from the desert like that too. When the Lamb opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, "A quart of wheat for a day's wages, and three quarts of barley for a day's wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!" -Revelation 6:5, 6:6 |

More likely we'll begin by extending healthy useful life by five or ten years. Forty will be the new 25. Sixty will be the new 40 and so on. Then those on the leading edge - those turning sixty or so - will find that the techniques for rejuvenation are getting better. What once was a surface tuck and nip and maybe some vitamins is replaced by various treatments that can and do reverse the aging of the face and neck. Also, there are muscles I haven't felt in years suddenly being not only active again, but in pretty good shape, too. This phase (where we are now, by the way) will buy us all an extra five years or so of relatively good health. The rejuvenation process will keep getting better and better as the years roll on. New bones, new kidney's, new liver, and other things harvested from lab grown stem-cell mediated perfect matches. The next step will be organ rejuvenation within the body. No need for messy surgery to replace an organ. A series of injections will get you going toward growing a new kidney or new liver of your own. But this time round it will be a better, newer one that is perfect in it's dna copying of your genome. Not someone elses, but your own, without the damage and hits the instructions have taken down thru your generations and onto which you own body has added mistakes in the re=growth process as well. In about 10 years you're seventy and look and feel about 40. You then have the option to push the old clock back another decade or two with some new nano treatment modalities. All this extra time you're buying piecemeal can now be offered in a package and rejuvenation becomes a serious procedure. Your memories are removed, stored, and after your brain tissue has been overhauled by the nano-bots, the memories are reloaded. Diseases you had or were prone to develop are suddenly just gone. You're seventy, look and feel 30, and your body and your blood work say you are about 30. How long you'll coast at this level, no one knows. But you have the choice to stay there forever. No one calls it immortality yet. But we all know it either is immortality or damned close. The year is 2019 when this realization hits most of us... |

Does anybody know how to make that situation go away? Channelings talk it will be in the first years of New Earth. Around 2014 it will be a reality. It is fixing the DNA with special light, restoring it to his perfect blueprint keep in the upper layers (we only see the physical portion of the DNA but it has other "layers" not visible yet and able to restore the physical part we only use just now. So an activation and restoration. Karma and duality and dark ones with us, all that ends with the cycle. Then new earth and new science and new society and new all. In a few years it will be absolutely unrecognocible. But first these years of chaos. Don't worry when going through them, it is necessary to place each one in the position to continue or left this planet. |

User ID: 438726 United States 07/08/2009 01:32 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The technology to become immortal has existed for a LONG time. When i say that, i mean, before even what you know to be recorded history. But they dont let everyone become immortal. Just imagine if EVERYONE was immortal, how would it change certain fundamental things about the way people operate. Just imagine how, if you could be immortal, and not let anyone know that the technology exists, how you could manipulate the world around you. Really concider what would happen if everyone could become immortal, but not everyone could afford it. How would social societies have to be seperated to keep order. The ones with access to immortality inducing technology would probably not be able to socially mingle with those who dont. They would probably go as far as creating a "screening area" for those who dont, and in the screening area, no such technology could exist, as long as the immortals have control over it. Then they have the will to choose who they share their secret with. The immortals might even have to go as far as, say, having "thier own planet." The nature of "their own planet" might even help in the sustaining of immortality. You will never be immortal unless you are chosen. The technology will NEVER be openly available. Unless you are, and everyone else is, as INDIVIDUALS, A MASETR OF SCIENCE, EVERYONE WILL NEVER BE IMMORTAL. You MUST submit to someone else who has the technology, ON THEIR TERMS. Religion as you know it is the result. Nibiru is the place. (Modernly known as "Nibiru" or "Planet X". Many names.) Gravity, Gold and Stem Cells is how. YOU fill in the gaps. An Atheist Philosopher User ID: 11978578 United States 12/18/2012 06:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It will never happen. Technology will NEVER make the human being immortal. ONLY the soul within us can do that. Quoting: Spirit * Man ! And i wouldnt want to anyway being part machine like a damn Borg. Or having inferior genetic modified parts in me. NO way. I actually hope the world is destroyed longgggg before that. I pray that it is destroyed before we reach that Borg stuff ...which on a small scale is happening right now. See, that's the problem Atheists like me have with religious people like you. You're so closed minded and think that every fracking technological advancement is a lure to the "devil". News flash, no-one knows if your "soul" lives on forever. If you wanna kill yourself and find out, then that's your issue. It's people like you who protested the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) because it would "destroy the world". A stupid and naive image, perpetuated by mainstream media's depiction of a "mad scientist". Immortality will NOT be "Borg" as you say, you will look, act, and be human. Only unlike your fully organic counterparts, you will not age, nor be killed. -------------------------------------------------- To answer the question of the article, Yes, we will achieve immortality within the lifetime of those existing on mother Earth right now (20-30 years). Like another (very intelligent) individual on this thread mentioned, it will be a gradual change starting with the average lifespan extending, and ending with (for lack of a better word) physical immortality. This immortal state will be achieved through the use of nano-bots, organ growing, and other technologies that have not yet been realized fully. |
