This Ain't Billy Jack Goes To Washington
NARF- The Native American Rights Fund ,of which John Echohawk is executive director, is a Pawnee, and formerly of Idaho states attorney generals office and now confirmed appointee in the Ogumbi administration as head of the BIA has illustrated time and again that he is nothing more than a token tossed to the indigenous community and a total company man sellout.
While in the state attorney generals office in Idaho he worked tirelessly to benefit his tribe and political cronies
while leading the charge to stop issuing casino permits to indigenous people.
Now ,as indicated by the quote I've attached below, he apparently is opting to forgo any attempt to present even a hint of concern for indigenous people or their so called "status" and "relationship" with the U.S. Government:

“the federal government has exclusive authority over all Indians, all tribes under the Constitution, basically, that takes care of everything – if you’re a tribe then you’re under federal jurisdiction, any tribe, anywhere, is under federal jurisdiction. Period.”

EXCLUSIVE AUTHORITY and UNDER THE CONSTITUTION- so much for any sovereignty issues by his interpretation.

NARF is intended to be an advocate for indigenous peoples rights-that's basic constitutional rights-equal protection under the law-human rights, treaty rights and any agreements entered into by IP's and the feds.
And yet we have here this fool saying we are nothing more than chattel property and a subjugated one at that with no recourse.
This directly relates to previous statements I've made here and elsewhere that you're not going to enter their into their house (DC) unless you behave like them.
Couple this with SC Justice Scalia's reference to a recent case presented before the court involving an indigenous issue that it was a "laugher" and it doesn't bode well for us.
What is beyond comprehension to me is that indigenous people have bought into the Democratic Parties promises
over the last few decades and have nothing to show for it but empty words and deceit.
Especially this time because the candidate was a person of "color" and somehow that meant "change"-now that's the real laugher.
Neither party-that's neither party -serves anybody but their re election concerns and big business, to think otherwise is completely foolhardy and demonstrates either an ignorance or a complete disregard of history.
The stench emanating from the palace just got bigger-
thank you "brother".
Our land is everything to us...I will tell you one of the things we remember on our land. We remember that our grandfathers paid for it - with their lives."

It may well be that if the rest of the population wants a preview of things to come and what their future looks like it would serve to look at our history. Arrogance and indifference were always directed at as and other minorities for a variety of reasons-our numbers were too small-we were captives and viewed as a problem by the vast majority and commonly held to be ignorant savages. But this blatant lying with a Cheshire cat grin and the accompanying "everything is fine trust us oratory" seems to have taken on a life of it's own and a what's for breakfast reality for all.

They dont give a shit about us bro sad part is alot of people dont even realize it. People think that what the U.S. Government has done to us will not happen to them because we were savages and deserved it rolleyes. Seems most would rather sleep than to wake up and realize truth. This Government and the elected officials dont care about shit except lining thier and thier special friends pockets but yet every election people really think its going to change. They are trying to take the few things we have left and these bastards will stop at nothing to get it. They opress us because we know what the truth is and they have not a inch of it. Thats ok we can continue to wage the silent war, one day one day.

May the Great Spirit Bless you

Take Care
