Woo Hoo! I had three people transport and sell silver on our behalf at the Vallejo, CA gun show this weekend. There was only one other numismatic dealer, and we had the lowest prices on bullion, and we were the only ones who had bullion in bulk. We took and offered 6500 ounces of silver and 70 ounces of gold. While the booth was cheap, there was also the cost of hotels, and wages, so we spent nearly $1000 to offer silver at the show. Silver was just not even on the radar screen of people at the show. They had no thought or comprehension of silver or gold. WHEN ASKED IF THEY WANTED SILVER, PEOPLE RETORTED, "WHAT DO I NEED SILVER FOR, I HAVE A GUN, AND AMMO! I CAN GET WHATEVER I NEED." Scary, but true! It appears that these thoughtless gun owners are all planning on turning to a life of crime to provide for their needs if the economy gets much worse. That is very, very bad news for us all. Shouldn't you have known that the expenses would be what they are and that people would not be very interested in the precious metals? And, why were you apparently surprised at the gun owner's comments? Unless you are pulling our leg about the psychic stuff, and this IS GodlikeProductions, so I guess I should have seen that coming myself. Or, are you serious. Is it sort of like Chief Dan George in the movie: "Little Big Man" , when he said: "Sometimes the medicine works....and , sometimes it doesn't." ? If the dollar is worthless and they replace it with something equally or nearly worthless what will you do with your silver? Even now it seems the value of precious metals has more to do with the value of the individual currency then of the metal itself. You cant eat it. you cant trade it for food, what good is it? I can see governments hording up all the gold and saving it for when things level out...but I really dont see its worth in general. WTF am i gonna do with a chunk of gold...With a gun and bullets i can go out and kill something to eat. Seems like a can of soup would be worth more then a pound of gold if your hungry. |
