I'm not saying this is the case, but I'm acknowledging that it's possible. It would after all be very poetic, very romantic. To entrap and destroy ones enemy using that enemies own wisdom and distrust of their adversary against them would be a novel strategy which a person could take great pride in. You might in fact feel that you've guaranteed your name never be forgotten and always revered - an immortal legacy among your fellow superior beings.
