Quoting: Icewhy would you say that??? ice Ice of course this is clearly mild, guys like yourself aren't really getting the big picture. When the WHO level goes to level 6. That means forced vaccinations(which will actually infect and kill many more people) and also martial military rule, with armed United Nations troops everywhere on the streets of the USA. The Swine Flu is being used to bring in dictatorship, it has all been organized to begin properly on 1 May 2009. It has all been highly coordinated for the set day. |

Joe Neubarth User ID: 619969 United States 04/30/2009 07:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The simple fact of the matter is that flu is more aggressive in transmission and in killing during the cold months. When it get to southern Argentina, and Chili, it will start killing people. South Africa will have some problems. Southern Australia and New Zealand have a lot to worry about. When the cold months come in the northern hemisphere, if we have not guessed how the Swine flu will mutate and build a vaccine against that mutation, MILLIONS could die in the cold months. |

I won't get any more specific though. yes something Big is going on and this is just all stupid!!! I agree with the above that we are being played! This entire country has been dumbed down to the point that first they scared us with the money and now it's our health! We are now putty in the hands of the puppet masters!!!! ice |

It still is freezing at night or nearly so. THAT is the cold weather that the flu needs to be an aggressive killer. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 656332 United States 04/30/2009 07:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You're right ICE - confirmed on ABC Nightly News. The gene lacks a critical amino acid needed to make it virulent and it is suspected that those exposed to 1957 flu have some immunity. Other than its attack factor which may be greater than the standard 35% there is no reason at this time to treat this as different than a late season flu. BUT, if its just one amino acid it could mutate at any time tino a killer. I think. |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 662494 United States 04/30/2009 07:44 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thursday, April 30, 2009 * I Want to Punch America in the Face. Alright, it's one thing for the media to go crazy over a new disease and claim doomsday because of it, we're used to that, it's normal. We kinda just shake our collective head and say "Oh, media, you're so silly!" and smile. Then, we move on with our lives. This is how it's supposed to go. Why are people not sticking to the norm? Right now, it's something like 60 something confirmed cases in the ENTIRE U.S. That's less people than there are living in my apartment building. Anyone with a brain would say "Wow, that's not a lot. Why are we even covering this in the news?" which is why I'm saying that right now. There is one, let me repeat that, ONE supposed case in Northern Chicago. OH SHIT SON IT'S THE GODDAMN APOCALYPSE! So some schools and offices close down, and I can't walk down the street without seeing a group of idiotards in masks. Each and every one of them, I restrain the urge to remove their mask... with my fist. You can only imagine how hard this is for me. I think it would be neat, to see those clean white masks turn red, and I'd be doing the world a favor. America, grow a pair. Right now, we're the germaphobe with a jew fro at the lunch table that even the other social rejects pick on because we make it so easy. This is why terrorists pick on us, all they have to do is spit in our chocolate milk. America: |

Sorry, we'll have to interrupt you there In this section » * Obama's style and substance * Value of gloomy short-term forecasts is questionable * Banking on Nama may be safest option to end crisis * Ireland's uniquely steep slump down to us * April 29th, 1924: "Ridiculous" Free State protectionism * Bloody classic on Latin America's evolution that Chávez gifted to Obama NEWTON EMERSON NEWTON'S OPTIC: PRESENTER: WELCOME back to Flu News 24, your rolling pandemic channel. I’m joined in the studio by Dr Grant Hunt, an epidemiologist at the University of Shepherd’s Bush. Dr Hunt, Killer Pig Flu is spreading rapidly worldwide. Should we close down all the airports? Dr Hunt: Well, air travel can spread disease but you have to remember that most flu viruses are carried around the world by birds in a few weeks anyway. Presenter: A shocking statistic there and if you’ve seen a bird today, especially near an airport, we’d like to hear from you. E-mail your pictures and comments to [email protected]. In a moment we’ll be going over to the World Health Organisation control room for a live press conference. Dr Hunt, doesn’t the decision to set up this control room prove that the experts think we’re all doomed? Dr Hunt: No, of course not. They’re right to be concerned but all it proves is that the international monitoring systems are working. In fact, most people in the control room will just be watching the rolling news, while the rolling news watches them. It’s really quite funny if you think . . . Presenter: And a breaking story coming in from Australia. Yes, we can confirm that a 23-year-old man has been rushed to hospital in Kalgoorlie after feeling “a bit woozy”. Dr Hunt, does this terrifying rate of contagion among young adults remind you of the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic? Dr Hunt: The age of the patients is a concern but Spanish flu had a 50 per cent infection rate and a 20 per cent mortality rate. If this virus was even a fraction as deadly we would all know by . . . Presenter: I’m afraid I’ll have to interrupt you there because the mayor of Mexico City has just revised the local death toll up to 150. This is one of the world’s largest and most overcrowded cities. Dr Hunt, should we imagine scenes of medieval Black Death-type horror? Dr Hunt: Certainly not. Those deaths are tragic but there are 28 million people in Mexico City, so 150 fatalities after nearly a month is actually rather . . . Presenter: I’m going to have to interrupt you again and ask why all the fatalities have been in Mexico City if there is nothing thrillingly awful about it? Dr Hunt: Because most flu-related deaths are due to pneumonia, which western healthcare systems are superb at treating, and all the non-Mexican cases so far have been tourists from western countries. It’s really quite simple when . . . Presenter: I’ll have to interrupt you yet again for some exclusive late breaking news. Speaking live on this programme, Dr Grant Hunt from the University of Shepherd’s Bush has confirmed that Mexicans are uniquely susceptible to Killer Pig Flu. Are you Mexican? Have you recently eaten Mexican food? Do you remember the Alamo? E-mail your pictures and comments to [email protected]. Dr Hunt: Right, I’m interrupting you with a newsflash. New flu strains kill 500,000 people around the world every year. If you’re going to sit there 24 hours a day reporting every rumoured case . . . Presenter: And I’m afraid that we have to interrupt Dr Hunt to call security. |
