I should be OK then because I smoke, am out of shape, get little exercise and my diet is OK but not the best. I'm also middle-aged.

At fifty cents a pack in the US the tobacco companies would still see a profit. Cigs are nothing but a tax here.

It might be more fatal than a normal flu but I haven't seen anything about it being easier to catch/spread.

I haven't had the flu in thirty years or a cold in ten.

I'm not afraid either. I think it's a big hyped up nothing. More people will probably die this year from the regular flu.

Don’t let the Coronavirus hype scare you. The virus is merely an excuse to lock down the population prior to the financial system collapse. People won’t want to attend mass demonstrations if they think they’ll get a deadly virus from doing so. The virus is also a mechanism that can be used to bring down Xi Jinping and the Chinese Communist Party under versions of the script that require it.

Most likely we have only been hearing about and seeing the most severely affected people in this virus outbreak.

Probably there are hundreds of thousands in China and perhaps elsewhere who caught this bug, suffered only typical cold symptoms and then recovered without any medical treatment. If so, it is likely only a small percentage who become "critically ill" and that is what is making it look so scary to so many. Then you have the media hype which aggravates things further.

China's efforts to lock down heavily affected areas is probably more as a result of trying to limit panic and thus limit the impact upon their economy rather than any concern for human health and safety.

And not fearing any event. It’s a logic based existence. Being prepared for an emergency isn’t a reaction to pissing your pants about it.
