Thanks Anne~ much of this is true.
They both need a great deal of inner healing as they keep secrets and do not like to look at themselves intensely.
They will need a professional to help them and that person will have to be very good to push thru their BS.

They have created a superficial drama so that they are now alone, and will only have themselves to deal with.

This could be very beneficial as there is now nowhere else to turn to but themselves or they will self-destruct.

I am actually relieved to be released from the drama they create and want me to get involved in.
It has been draining and I have other things to do for my personal growth.

I do hope very much fro their success and that they can come back to us healed and willing to have an honest relationship.
What this will take will be enormous as He avoids this at all cost. But the drama will come to a peak, and he will have to get to it or have a meltdown.

Thank You very much. I realize what I need to do,inside I know anyway, but you are right....I am very insecure and am really having trouble because of it. I'm not sure how to get past it. And I am very sensitive...more like hyper-sensitive. I would just like,for once, to focus on really striving for more,whether it be school or a better job and some time alone....I am the only one in my son's life as of right now(other than my father) and I feel like it is starting to take a heavy toll on me as a mother. I love my son but I feel like I don't even know who I am anymore. I feel it makes me less of a good mother at times. I stress that fact. I stress every little thing. I feel completely restrained by these thoughts and I DO know that your thoughts create your environment but yet I am still struggling day to day.
And as for Patrick, you are right. He has had a drug problem since we separated and his own family does not even know where he is. He is hiding from this. I know he is in FL...Tampa, actually. I know this because his brother has said so. I do wish I could find him because he does not even know that he has a son....he never knew before he left if the baby was a boy or girl. I wonder if he even thinks about this.

Wow. That's a little scary considering that his grandmother lives on MY STREET(about 10-12 houses down)and I don't trust her. I walk my son all over the neighborhood and wonder if he has seen us. I wonder what he thinks.She has always held a grudge because I gave my son MY last name rather than Patrick's. I could absolutely see him staying with her now(strong possibility anyway)and her possibly helping him financially(even though he is a young disabled veteran who gets several thousand every month). He is horrible with money...always was. I can possibly see him going to her house as a last chance type of thing. Honestly, I wish I knew if that were true because it is a little unsettling thinking he is only down the street,literally,and with all the stories on the news about kids being abducted or any such situations. I fear him not wanting to pay child support and see him being very angry at the very idea. Yet a part of me thinks that he would want to be in his son's life. I do need to say that there has never been a paternity test done,as I have not seen him since before I had Shane. But,of course, I know what the test will reveal...that Patrick is the father. But he does not want to be found for that to be done...at least that's what I am thinking.

thank you for the reading.You are right about my health, I have to slow down and get a grip of it. My doctor warned me about it. I can't seem to get a grip on my diabetes typ 1. A few years back it was perfect but now I am getting a lot of complications and felling sick all the time. I know I have to find the rest and peace in my life but that is hard with all the stress.I have had a very hard life and as a child I had to be strong. But it is hard at this moment when every thing seems to break down. When will it end?

Yes, that's true that my ex has to move forward..this is his biggest problem, that's why we have had the on/off relationship for years and he is always afraid to take the next step. Maybe you're right that we should be separate until he figures out what he wants. Thank you.
