Why must we swear oaths and be allegiant to anything?
Both Politics and religion seem to go berzerko trying to get all us furry critters to ape into some spiffy game.

"I pledge allegiance"... to the USA and to some invisible God too.

I hear the Chief Chimp is now trying to get his shocktroops to plege allegiance to his own sorry self.

Ever since a babe I always thought this oath-stuff was weird.

I´m a critter that hatched for a very short time on earth, so why all the dumbass oathing? Doesn´t it all smack of some adolescent brat-treehouse-gang shenanigan?

--------------------------------
A. We don´t have to be allegiant to or worship another human being-- nor a myth for that matter. [this stuff can get your butt shot of in somebody´s stupid war, not good]

B. We don´t have to believe that which is not true.

I think it is just a way to "assure" you will be loyal to those entities.

The same Emotion as, posting irrelevant posts. It makes us feel secure in the fact that we are but a tear drop in the Eye of creation. But we are important in the functioning of how the eye sees.

Why? Seems to me if you can do random oathing, you could just as easily un-oath too.

Check out some of these alleged oaths, talk about weird, these poor oathers gotta be crazy!

Masonic Oaths

"...binding myself under no less penalty than that of having my skull smote off and my brains exposed to the scorching rays of the noonday sun, should I violate this my solemn obligation..."

Jesuit Silly Gore

"In confirmation of which, I hereby dedicate my life, my soul and all my corporal powers, and with this dagger which I now receive, I will subscribe my name written in my own blood, in testimony thereof; and should I prove false or weaken in my determination, may my brethren and fellow soldiers of the Militia of the Pope cut off my hands and my feet, and my throat from ear to ear, my belly opened and sulphur burned therein, with all the punishment that can be inflicted upon me on earth and my soul be tortured by demons in an eternal hell forever!"

Illuminati Orcy Oaths

"Shouldst thou become a traitor or perjurer, let this sword remind thee of each and all the members in arms against thee. Do not hope to find safety; whithersoever thou mayest fly, shame and remorse as well as the vengeance of thine unknown brothers will torture and pursue thee."

Good points Kent. Who would want to join those scumbag organizations you mentioned except evil satanist types (including the Jesuits-army of God- murderers for Christ motherfuckers).

Why is there such a concept as "duty"? Why do poor people feel like they have a "duty" to join the army and die in an illegal war to "protect our freedom in America". This is just as ingrained a concept and just as sick. We don´t have any such "duty". Rich people never seem to have this "duty". Why is that?

Re: Why must we swear oaths and be allegiant to anything?
One of the common deceptions used by anti-Masons, particularly the "Religious Intolerants", is the charge that Masons take "Bloody Oaths". Forgetting how they too might have said "Cross my heart and hope to die.", it´s a wonderful catch-phrase for them to use since it´s so emotionally charged. To someone who has never experienced Freemasonry, it can be more than just ´chilling´.

Here, however, is the reality:
--Freemasonry is a three hundred year old organization founded on the principles of organizations which existed hundreds of years before that. It comes from a time when it was important to impress upon an initiate the solemn and serious nature of the work he was undertaking.
--In addition, Freemasonry teaches its lessons through the use of ALLEGORY whereby an example is explained or shown in a way which will impress upon the listener the point in a manner that words simply can´t accomplish.
--And finally, Freemasonry´s oaths are SYMBOLIC relative to penalties, a fact that the anti-Masonic faction would have you totally ignore.

Most of our Presidents were Freemasons including the recent one. That Bible Bush used I bet was a Masonic bible. So we know who the god of the Lodge is the light Bearer being Lucifer. Christians you are so hoodwinked.

It´s called brainwashing. It begins at the age of 6 and continues until at least the age of 18.

Re: Why must we swear oaths and be allegiant to anything?
Look up the secret oath of Kol Nidre which Talmudic Zionist Jews use to swear allegiance to Israel over their duty as American office holder. This is why the original 13th amendment outlawed British titles of nobility and esquires. In 1812, America needed one more state to ratify this, but the British started war of 1812 and on 9-11 1814, burned the library of congress in a effort to destroy this amendment.
