If I had to guess, I would say that It could be we are coming into the days of a ceremonial/working USA capitol. For instance the ceremonial White House would be in DC. The working White House would be in Chicago. Ceremonial is for photo ops, press conferences, tourists and preserved as a museum. Working is off limits to tourists, press , etc. to enhance security. The same set up could come into existence for Congress with the same division of purposes and reasons. This could be in Denver. Omaha could be the fall back position after the missiles fly.

Interesting the last exercises were to move the government (in January) to Philly in the event of a WMD event. However, I did just the other night have a dream where I thought I was in another country (france/germany/italy/whatever) and when I went to buy a latte I found out while looking at the chewing gum (which still seemed foreign) that I was in Nebraska.

This was a two part dream that involved school buses in each one (the big yellow kind) and I thought it was odd that Nebraska was in my dream. HOWEVER, I must state that I did live in Lincoln, NE for a year when I was ten and also just read about a CORNHUSKER that dies here in Vegas in the Obits recently.

Still...kinda strange.
