Yellowstone caldera earthquakes
I've been away from here for a few days. Whatever happened to the massive thread about the quake swarms? I was led to believe that we'd all be under a mile of ash by now ;)

Re: Yellowstone caldera earthquakes
that was due to a lot of arm chair wanna be seismologists & volcanologists!

People should NOT interpret seismic helicorders, if they don't know how to read them! I have no problem with people asking questions about the data, however when these amateurs won't even listen to several of us who have degrees in seismology, and volcanology( professional spelling used by Volcanologists)
claiming they know what harmonic tremors looks like, I just have to laugh...

Must have been friends of Steve and Hawk, doom mongers.
