I found an excellent sky picture/chart to help you locate the Green Comet Lulin in the morning sky [link to www.flickr.com] This guy has captured it twice now with a regular camera. Early this morning under the moonlight. [link to www.flickr.com] January 08, 2009 [link to www.flickr.com] So far he has been the only person I have found to do it without a telescope. Maybe this can be pinned for a few days to help people locate this strange comet?

They say it might outburst or any number of other possible scenario at this point. It will move earlier in the morning sky until it is visible in the evening by mid February. This comet is unique in that it has a tail and an anti tail. This comet could end up being a once in a lifetime event. Nice! Does anybody know if it will get bright like Holmes? Quoting: Insideout

McCanney talks about in in his recent broadcast, says there's an electrical alignment with Earth near it's closest approach, and a new moon soon after. It seems to have already made a decent electrical connection with the sun.
