The annual average runs from 45 to 60, so we already have had more than half of the lower to middle end of average. There are scientist who advocate a causal relationship between volcanoes and earthquakes, with the EQ preceeding, often by many moths, the eruptions. |

I've noticed that the center of all earthquake activity has been slowly moving eastward with an increase in overall activity. The center of all activity is west of Hawaii.
