The problem here is that you misunderstand me, much like my other naysayers. I have never said it is a good thing that people are dying. I believe it is a tragic situation and my heart breaks for every innocent person involved. However, I do not believe Israel should back down until they can achieve their goal, which is getting Hamas to stop firing rockets into Israel.

They live in such a crowded, small area, and it is impossible to avoid civilian casualties. That is a horrible disgusting truth in war. It always is. If Hamas moved away from the busy parts, perhaps less civilians would be harmed. That is why you'll hear sometimes, someone will say Hamas hides behind it's own people. Hamas uses it's own people as human shields...etc.
