Frickin people drop dogs, cats off out in the wild like they are gonna survive out here all on their own. Best they can hope for is to freeze to death (relatively painless if it happens overnight, really painful if they survive with frostbite and then lose their ears, paws whatever). Or maybe they will just be torn apart by coyotes or wolves. Or slowly starve when it gets too cold for even mice and packrats to stir around.

Personally I would like to take a horsewhip to people who abandon animals. The least the sacks of shit could do is take the poor thing to a shelter.
