The only thing that matters with color really is whether or not the iris can be seen clearly! Lighter eyes are easier to see the pattern of the iris in... darker are much harder to see without very close inspection.

Just wait until those eye scan identification units become standard in place of id cards... a built in personality profile on everyone! :)
