Wattle honey is quite common, but I prefer mixed flower or silkweed, it's smoother. Anyway there're hundreds of variants. Honey basically lasts forever, after some time sugar crystallizes, it's normal, especially when stored around 59 Fahrenheit. If you don't like crystallized honey, just warm it up, but never exceed 113f as you would lose some of its useful properties. Quoting: stex 521055Thank you, that's good to know about the temperature and reheating. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1228I don't keep mine in the 'fridge, are you supposed-to? When honey turns to "sugar", just heat it up and it liquifies again. Honey should be covered as everything loves it. If honey were not antibiotic, bees would not be able to keep it stored. Good for wounds of any kind. |

Thanks. But Stevia has aspartame, which is absolutely HORRIBLE for us! What? Stevia and aspartame are completely unrelated. Stevia is a natural plant, whose extract is 300 times sweeter than sugar, while aspartame is the man-made poison you speak of. Stevia is completely safe. Some store brands do include additives, though. Just read the label. |

I have notes! Honey and cinnamon is good for just about everything, including arthritis, heart disease, bladder problems, toothache, colds and flu, advanced bone and stomach cancers, and as an energy drink. Different physicians have different ratios of honey to cinnamon, but this one seems OK to me for added vitality, colds and flu, arthritis, etc. In 3 Cups of boiling water, Add 4 Tablespoons of honey to 1 Tablespoon of cinnamon. Drink 2 oz. 3 times a day. Or drink 2 oz., one ounce after brushing teeth in the morning, then again at 3 p.m. For advanced stomach or bone cancer, take 1 Tablespoon of honey mixed with 1 Teaspoon of cinnamon 3 X day for a month. For toothache, make a paste of 5 Tablespoons of honey and 1 Teaspoon of cinnamon. Apply 3 X day. Just using plain ol' Pure honey from the store ought to be OK. It keeps a long time on the shelf. There is something in honey that cannot be destroyed, so not to worry about whether it is raw or not. It doesn't spoil. . |

Some of it is just corn syrup and some flavorings and God-only-knows what else. The best honey is local unprocessed raw honey. If you have any allergies, the local honey works like homeopathy. Honey and cinnamon in equal parts is excellent; and honey with raw unprocessed apple cider vinegar is a great tonic that boosts your immunity and energy level. But Stevia has aspartame, which is absolutely HORRIBLE for us! Quoting: MichelleStevia does not have aspartame. It's a natural plant which is many times sweeter than sugar and has no calories. If you're concerned about additives you can just buy the stevia leaves, that way you can be sure you're getting the real thing. Just put a few in with your coffee grounds. The greatest gift you can give anyone is the example of your own life working. -Orin |
