Quoting: Anonymous Coward 517463*very* good. (I am using a very small keyboard and sometimes this happens.) Awww... and here I thought you were speaking with an accent! Durn! :( Hey, thanks on the compliment... I would love to get all fat headed but truth be known ANYbody taking as many shots as I do will have a Few that turn out surprisingly nice. lol It's all in the accidents. Cool part is, after a couple of years of shooting, those accidents are finally happening a little more frequently. We know more than we know and understand less than we think. |

Golden orb weaver? Actually just like photographing spiders! If you're interested, there are a couple of more pics of this yellow spider and another like it. They are unusual here. I am so glad they don't come in dog or cat size! Kletos, Eklektos & Pistos |

Notice the small gnats around the prey, they are snatching up bits of the meal. Quoting: czygyny:praying ma: OMG!! That is gorgeous!! What a wonderful shot! Thanks for sharing that czygyny! That is one of the most 'alien' faces I've ever seen! You must have a larger lens than I do, I opted for the 18x200mm lens when I bought the camera, which does a great job for all my photography needs, but I envy your 'zoom' power!! I'd need a tripod for certain. I do all my shots free standing, thank goodness for digital, I can take a whole series and pick out the sharpest. I think given the choice between the two, I would take a high-power microscope over a high-power telescope any day. There is a lifetime of discoveries to be found up close. Kletos, Eklektos & Pistos |
