My wife and I have gardened on and off for many years. we've already started and hpefully, should be a bit more self-sufficient in a year. Meanwhile, we have enough food and other stuff to get by (I hope). My biggest concern was water, but our well is now cut over to PV, which means we won't die of thirst without the grid.
