And what about the bear skin? Was that really her home?
If it was or not, and she did indeed shoot/kill a bear, kept the skin, did she indeed put the meat into her freezer for later use?

I met an American last year on the internet and he was involved in hunting wildlife. Hunting has been part of American culture, if you ever find yourself in a cold climate with nothing to eat or to keep you warm you might be pleased of that fact.

We campaign for animal rights so I do appreciate the sentiments here.

The "Inuit" or Eskimos of Alaska, modern or traditional, are the heart of the Alaskan landscape. An ancient people that has grown with the State and are actively involved in its future. An authentic Alaskan adventure would be dog sledding across the open Tundra or hunkered down over an ice hole fishing with an Inuit guide to teach you. Winter or summer there are so many things to learn from this unique people. Many are involved in guiding and leading groups into the Wilderness for camping, hiking, backpacking, hunting, fishing, and other assorted adventure activities. The Inuit hold their Elders in high esteem and it is not unusual to see them in traditional costume out amongst the crowd; still teaching and leading the youth of today.

Many Native peoples had their ancient traditions taken away from them and we also campaign to ensure these cultures are not destroyed.

It is a very thin line to walk and there must be a balance in all things.

Are you going to tell the Eskimo's that they are not allowed to hunt? Are you going to remove their traditions from them?

What do you advocate is done in these extreme and isolated cases?

You guys have no idea about life up here and the video is misleading.

There is no legal aerial wolf hunting. It is predator control done strictly by fish and game authorities. No bears are taken that way.

All bear hunts must be done using fair chase principles, as with wolves or any other wildlife. I had a girlfriend that ate wolf on a regular basis in the Brooks Range.

There are tons of wolves and bears in Alaska. I don't support predator control, but if humans are to hunt caribou and moose for food here then some herds simply need protection from the state.

Sarah Palin is more down to earth and real than most of you can even conceive. She is human and the few people that are here are put first in her eyes.

The dairy farm they talked about was the Matanuska Maid Dairy farm that nobody here wanted shut down. I saved a carton from there last season of egg nog.
