According to the OT, 3 million Hebrews left Egypt and after 40 years of wandering, only 40,000 made it to Canaan. This would have left massive bone deposits including animal remains all over the Sinai. Nothing like that has been found. Lot of Israeli scholars say that they simply evolved from Canaanite people which gives them a strong claim to the land.

Greek and Hebrews share lots of haplogroup J chromosomes. So they are related.
