The Reason February has 28 Days...or 29.

So why is February the short month.

January or March could have had 30 days each, giving February 2 more days to make 30 days, and then any of the three could have 31 days every four years.

It is because February was the last month of the year until some early politics from some king in a major victory in the "way back" time decided that his Victory day would be the start of the new year. That date was Jan 1.

Whomever originally did the calendar before the King also fucked it up because they basically had to use white out to remove Feb 29th and Feb 30th when they realized they were off on the yearly cycle. It probably took a while to realize this so they just hacked 2 days off the end of the calendar.

Our world has been duct taped together for a long while.
