If you remove the Crown, which is bigger than any one monarch, all laws, all institutions become null and void unless there is something viable ready to replace it.

This would not only affect the UK, but all commonwealth countries where the military, courts, law enforcement and government are all sworn to an entity known as "The Crown", including Canada, Australia and New Zealand

The Crown is the last bastion of stability in the UK and commonwealth countries holding back chaos.
