It's not a lack of education. It's too much education. How can that be so? Because the education they are getting is lies/propaganda. More money for more propaganda isn't going to improve anything. |

Oh, and they make sure to leave out almost everything about the Constitution and what the founders believed. If they were told about those things, a lot of them would realize that what we have today is becoming more of a contradiction to those principles every day. Not a good way to keep your slaves under your thumb. |

He was a Catholic priest, sociologist, and censured by the Vatican. public education is a training ground for militarism. |

I teach in a middle school and the money they spend - is spent on dumbing down the students. The curriculum is so rigid and the political correctness so ingrained that if a teacher tries to do a good job and teach truth - they get forced out. The students are mind bogglingly ignorant. Every teacher I know who has half a brain (there aren't many) is trying to get out of the field. It's just draining. I'm out as soon as something 'better' comes along. That's why I'm working on affiliate marketing (see sig ). I just love to teach and if 'they' would just allow me to teach it would be a pleasure. end rant |

Yeah, I read this essay a while back about this Oakland school teacher who had a retirement plan to move to the stix and take up farming not because of collapse due to institutionalized financial alchemy, not because of collapse due to nuclear war, not due to collapse due to environmental cataclysms, but due to collapse due to a moratorium on brains in the upcoming generation that will have to run the world. He says the kids that are coming up are so poorly prepared to run a society that the survival of the species is likely in jeapordy. That's a teacher saying that. |

You have said what I think. I used to teach in a PUBLIC school in the 70's. It was the janitor who opened my eyes to what a trap I would be in if I stayed in teaching longer than four years. I left teaching and have never looked back. I've found plenty of opportunity to "teach", just not in the government indoctrination systems that pass as "schools" in this nation. Not saying there aren't wonderful teachers out there, just that they are being wasted! |
