Why do people who work in banks or lawyers or judges think they're above the law when it comes to drinking on the job?

They always insert that bit into movies..the judge and lawyers having a scotch in the private chambers in the middle of deliberations.

I dated a girl who worked in a bank, and it was like everyone had a bottle in their desks. Drink in upstairs meetings.

Am I leaving any other profession out?

I say fuck it, if we gotta be tax slaves indefinitely, bring back drinking on the job. Alcohol is so out of fashion that it just must come back in.
