The first thing that was done by Pelosi was to change in the public mind the standard terminology, "off the table" used to mean, even in the days of the Clinton administration, that a bill was on the floor of the chamber being debated to be moved toward an up or down vote. Then Pelosi did an Orwellian "black is white" and no one in the MSM or any where else called her on it. Off the table used to a bill was alive and active, being on the table used to mean the bill had been put down on the table top to either be picked up later or allowed to collect dust and grow fungus. Petitions need to be started to remove the members from the Judicary committee from their committees, and actions need to be taken for the States to begin recalls of their House Reps and US Senators. BUt the people have lost even their state governments, so this is not even a likely avenue. Don't blame the media, don't blame the repukes nor the demons even, blame yourselves for having no guts. |

That is a substantial margin. It has to go to the Judiciary Committee as a matter of the procedure. Although the Judiciary Committe could sit on their asses about it, the vote and the pressure of millions of citizens may help get it moved through the committee and on the floor to proceed on the resolution to Impeach. |

What possible hope is there left for any justice when they themselves have so much blood on their hands that they do anything to protect the warcriminal they so dispice? Means there is no more hope left for us, and war with Iran is just a matter of days rather then weeks. Americans would say in such a scenario, 'May God help us all!' but I am sure that if there even is such a thing as God that He has definately abandoned on everybody involved in this dirty disgracefull 8-year dictatorship with all these warcrimes! Whats left? [link to notwithmeyouwont.wordpress.com] [link to notwithmeyouwont.wordpress.com] And if that doesn't work then you might as well kill yourself! |

Although it was a Yes vote to Impeach, and by a large margin, the fear is that it will lanquish there. The excuse it that it might distract from the elections. What is their excuse for not acting on previous resolutions of Impeachment ? Was it a distraction from their kick backs ? My personal feelings is that any legislator who refuses to act on this because they think it might damage their electability, deserves to be replaced by someone with more cahones. If they won't act to bring these criminals to justice, it's like putting a stamp of approval on theirs' and future criminal acts, including those designed to undermine the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the justice system itself. How do we teach the children morals and ethics, how can we demand good and strong character from them, if those who take oaths to follow and protect our Constitution openly, flagrantly, commit crimes against us and others, or turn a blind eye because it's easier ? |

Put July 9, 2008, on your calendar! Dennis did 13 media interviews so far today - it's moving, but needs to move farther. Call the media!! And REMEMBER: you can't say "we have no time" AND "if he attacks Iran then we'll impeach him" WITHOUT your head exploding. Roll Call Vote Record [link to clerk.house.gov] |
