By doing this they went up against addiction, and its a bitch of a battle. The only time this mightve worked would have been decades ago when the opiate crisis wasnt so bad. Want to stop the epidemic? Start killing anyone who tries to bring drugs in to the US. Kill the cartels and anyone else who does it. Completley stop the flow of drugs, and then all that is left is local home grown methlabs. Heroin is rarely if never manufactured or grown here, it is almost always brought over a border. |

I was and am a drug and alcohol counsellor and my job became impossible to bear when private companies took over and began pushing harm reduction instead abstinence. I'm all for harm reduction...for individuals outside of the program but for people who mandated to participate in treatment abstinence is the only route. |

I wouldn't throw too many stones there Texas. I was in Austin and it was a fucking Libtopia, and let's not even talk about all the joggers you have. We dont have those in Oregon. Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio... Those are all WAY fucking worse then anything in Oregon. Fuck that place! |

It is not home grown though, it is the result of Californian's (mostly) bringing their rot here. But all things considered, I will take Texas any day to Oregon or anywhere else on the left coast. Sounds like you are happy out there, so cheers. Tell your left coast friends to stay there please, we are just about full of your liberal retarded thinking over here. |

Decriminalization is one thing (is that its not gonna ruin your life or set you back by Felony label) which is great anyway as Drugs is a personal endeavour. But to allow it to this point lol. I would decriminalize a lot of drugs (Cannabis, Shrooms, DMT, MDMA, MDA and thats it for me) with major fees if abused in public. If you're gonna do drugs and don't have a home go sit in some dumpster out back, dont roam the streets like the Dead. If you do have a home, go the fuck home and be a zombie. Besides the drugs I mentioned DONT MAKE YOU INTO ONE! Weed is Chill and at BEST Sleepy but never incoherent. Shrooms, crazy visual but never slurred speach. DMT intense short lived visuals wont even last 1 Hour. MDMA will last up to 8-9 Hours but is usually best experienced in social or intimate setting anyway. |

Don't worry... anyone with a brain isn't coming to Texas. Flat, no mountains, a bunch of joggers, act all high on their horses... Fuck that! I would take the West Coast ANY day. Outside the Southern Ca, San Francisco area, Portland, Eugene, Seattle, it is highly red.The place is full of mountains, fishing, hunting, no joggers... You can keep your ghetto utopia... Have fun defending yourself from the joggers, illegals, etc. I wouldn't even come back to visit... as nothing to offer. And please, when you guys are infiltrated with all the Libtards, don't come back to the West Coast. It will be awesome when they all leave and come and ruin your state. |

Shit Portland is only 500K people, Eugene maybe another 150k. Houston, Austin, San Antonio, the whole Gulf Coast is millions of people with HUGE amount of trash and joggers. I would bet my left nut Texas has more of that trash to deal with than Oregon. We have 4 million people in the whole state and I would bet less than 5% are drug addicts. I saw more people laid up covered in hit and doped out in Austin that I have in Portland. |

I agree with that, stupid fucking idea to legalize dope, but they aren't anywhere outside those small epicenters. And there are not that many people in the state compared to other large states |
