It's a game changer! They can be charged at near instantaneous rates (theoretically ) think of back to the future and the lightning strike! as in the limit is the conductor size. They are light weight!
And they don't explode when physically damaged or water shorted (unlike lithium ion)

1 you said charge time likely solved.
2 weight issue likely solved.
3 explosive and corrosive materials likely solved
But.
4 lifespan how many effective cycles?
5 charging cycle degradation. Does capacity wane with age?
6 end of life recycle or disposal costs.
7 materials easily available and obtained without more impact than oil?
8 operating temperature will they function in -30 winters where I live?
9 scalable or limits on size. Will we need ten thousand discs stacked or one 3’ by 3’ brick to power a device.

Honestly I hope so as well it’s the most destructive thing we do environmentally. Strip the planet to mine toxic poisons distributing it over the planet then haphazardly dispose locally with no real plan to deal with long term effects.

I am under a NDA and in the EV realm but I can say this tech will also impact many other devices including smart phones...
