[link to finance.yahoo.com (secure)] It's a game changer! They can be charged at near instantaneous rates (theoretically ) think of back to the future and the lightning strike! as in the limit is the conductor size. They are light weight! And they don't explode when physically damaged or water shorted (unlike lithium ion) this is tech too invest in... |

While traditional lithium-ion batteries typically offer around 500 to 1,000 charge cycles, solid-state batteries have the potential to exceed 10,000 cycles. This significant increase in cycle life expectancy can have a profound impact on the longevity and overall cost-effectiveness of energy storage systems. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84723795 LAAC LAC LTHM.... will solid state bat vs lithium bat ....which will win??? Lithium is doomed! Honestly I hope so as well it’s the most destructive thing we do environmentally. Strip the planet to mine toxic poisons distributing it over the planet then haphazardly dispose locally with no real plan to deal with long term effects. |
