Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79599244 I don't view this as 'witchcraft' OP discusses how he 'surrendered' dark parts of his being to a higher power, purging himself of demons. If anything, it reminds me of the Serenity Prayer 'God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.' It also reminds me of Buddhism, surrendering habits/attachments: "Buddhism asks us to relinquish the domination of the ego and its habits. We can do this by understanding the emptiness of self or ego. We can also understand this as the surrender of the ego to a deeper aspect of our nature that is transforming us." Also Taoism, instead of trying to control the universe, surrender to it. Instead of fighting against the reality of the moments the universe has put in front of you, accept them, relinquish them to a higher power for purification: “The Master understands that the universe is forever out of control, and that trying to dominate events goes against the current of the Tao.” |

Perhaps you should remember your station in the realms. Embarrassing, really, how you so easily reveal what you are. Were you given the chance to upgrade into a skinsuit with the ability to postulate and not the usual farm animal, where you may only grunt and squeal? How appropriate you would choose the metaphor of a "compost pile"-you love wallowing in your own filth. We both know you seek to further humanist ideals of self-empowerment instead of seeking the shed blood of the One True King - Jesus Christ. Your attempt to use simple smoke & mirrors to divert men into damnation, so that you need not be alone in your punishment. User ID: 80408535 ![]() 11/20/2023 07:21 AM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've always had an intuitive sense about the 'shadow people' - that they are the 'spiritual composters' or the 'energetic composters'. They have a Plutonic/Hadean energy - like maggots, pill bugs, cockroaches - feeding off of dark, negative energies. They reside in a realm of death, transformation, destruction and thus renewal. Quoting: ElleMira Some ponderings, copied and pasted from one of my journal entries: 'the polarity of good/bad, positive/negative, light/dark - it's important to respect polarity as necessary and valuable: "While we in our culture have generally deemed the light to be “good” and the shadow “evil” (just watch any Hollywood movie ever, it’s always about “good vs evil”), neither are actually superior or inferior, they are simply expressions of duality itself and give birth to the very nature of our human existence. Yet our judgment of these forces — which exist on the macro-level of the Universe as well the micro-level within each individual human being — has condemned the shadow to such a degree that it has become repressed, and therefore dangerous — for any force that is repressed long enough will eventually erupt — like a geyser under pressure — with equal intensity to restore balance..." Here's my take on it - it's a lot like gardening - we take rotting scraps of food to compost their energy. Cockroaches, worms, maggots - all these 'negative' creatures are necessary and they all help in the decomposition process. Because of these 'shadow' creatures, working behind the scenes and doing the unpleasant task of transforming rotting filth - we are then left with a rich compost that feeds new life, that brings forth fresh vegetables, fruits, flowers - feeding off the light (sunshine) and the dark (composted soil). I look at feelings/emotions/energy the same way - our 'shadow' feelings of stress, anger, despair, depression - it's unpleasant but is a process - it is necessary for our spiritual growth. On that note: " Don't forget you're trapped in a decaying body, on a giant floating rock in the middle of infinite black space and literally no one knows why." That said, I always strive towards a higher, lighter, brighter vibration. I try to keep my emotional state the same way I try to keep my home. I do daily house cleaning. Getting rid of the clutter. Opening the blinds to let in the light. Opening the windows to let in fresh air. I don't allow filth to accumulate. I tidy up and clean. I don't let dirty dishes, scum or stagnant water sit in my sinks. I try to infuse my home with positive imagery, smells, sounds and other vibrations. To your point on surrendering a part of yourself - that is negative, or as some say 'doing shadow work' - I think there's some merit to that. I would equate more to relinquishing the shadow to a higher power (like God, as is done in the 'Serenity Prayer'). Good post! Helping Humanity is always the Tyrants Alibi |

Shouldn't the compost pile ne outside yourself? I would say no. Because the path to enlightenment requires us to process those parts of ourselves and integrate them by embracing our true nature's. Whomever that person may be. This concept isolated those things and helps us to deal with them as better perceptions arise. But the ultimate goal isn't to throw away any part of yourself, but to learn to embrace them as the "whole" self. The hardest part of this work is self forgiveness, and understanding of our darkest nature's.our shadow self. Then learning to love that self |
