Some thoughts/questions on Top Secret Gubment Documents
Isn’t there some search/check process for any president leaving office and packing their belongings?

Does the White House really keep printed documents stamped in red TOP SECRET and store them in cardboard boxes?

Wouldn’t there be security such as the FBI or military personnel to be involved in such?

It is probably the highest position on the planet. It’s insane that any departing president or anyone within the presidential cabinet wouldn’t have to document, date and time any and all items being removed from the White House.

Surly I’m not the only person to think this?

Heck, I just retired after 23 years from a public school system and when a new principal came in and the former one left, there were personnel from the district office to oversee the change as well as a complete financial audit that was mandated by the state.

That was just for one school district.

Any thoughts or answers?

The Presidential Records Act says that all documents from a President's time in office are a record of his Presidency. He has a right to take any of them with him when he leaves, for his purposes. Period.

This was tested under Bill Clinton, regarding audio tapes he had made. The ruling was: It is completely up to the President to decide what is a record of his Presidency and he has a right to take it use it. The Government can request the records back and the President can return them, when he decides he is done with them.

So, in the case of Trump, they plan on ignoring the Presidential Records Act and try to claim that he committed Espionage by stealing military secrets. But all of this appears to be a cover, because Mark Meadows (Trump Chief of Staff) took 1000 pages of documents when he left office ... and they appear to be what Trump thought was proof that Obama/Biden/Clinton/FBI/DOJ were conspiring against his Presidency. The Mar Largo raid appears to be an attempt to get their hands on that evidence so Trump can't declassify it and release it.

Further...Joe Biden and Mike Pence both removed classified documents from government property. As VP's they had no legal right to do so. They both definitely violated US law. The DOJ cleared Pence the other day. Why? Because they had to if they plan of letting Biden off the hook. ....Biden even took documents as a US Senator and has had them for years. He clearly broke US laws.

We need to get prayed up for this. I think things are going to get ugly.

My guess is if this actually goes to trial it won’t happen until after next year’s elections.

Thank you for the information. I didn’t know this.

Why is it not being reported on the news?

Since Trump has been indicted, will that make him ineligible to run for president?

Didn’t even know about the indictment until early this morning.

I heard it was done later last night. Odd that it was announced at night instead of waiting for the light of day.
