BREAKING: Russia to Arm Belarus with Nukes Next Month

Putin to deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus from July
Vladimir Putin is in Sochi where earlier he met his Belarusian counterpart and ally Alexander Lukashenko.

In a reading of their meeting, Mr Putin said that Russia will start to deploy tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus from 7 or 8 July.

"So everything is according to plan, everything is stable," he said.

The two men had previously agreed a deal on Belarus hosting land-based short-range nuclear missiles, where they'll remain under Russian command.

The nukes will be deployed to Belarus, but remain under Russian control.

That was was supposed to happen in Cuba in the early 60s.
