Though shalt not kill is not the same as though shall not murder. An abortion is a killing in self defense so it technically is not murder. However, personally I don’t think people should abort a pregnancy… but I would never be in that position to choose. There could be valid reasons like psychological trauma of carrying a rapists baby or something… and then that could cause suicide for the mother. It’s not for me to decide. I do think that making abortion illegal would lead to more black market abortions that are unsafe and can kill the mother. So I believe that making it illegal will cause more harm to living people than babies that have not been born yet.
