Fuck that rhino. Reminds me of another idiot animal who doesn't know it's outmatched until it's too late.

Elephant subdued the Rhino with such little effort.

All it had to do was use its weight to take it down.

Elephant acted in self defence actually. Look at the sequence of events carefully. First attack came from the rhino and it failed. The elephant responded swiftly after that, sort of like dodge the initial punch, then counter punch maneuvre. First the elephant took down the rhino, then found a nice soft spot to gore, and went all in. Rhino started screaming when what it probably felt like its hind leg and insides were being torn apart.

Interesting to note that the elephant didn't continue with the attack once the rhino started to flee. So I am guessing the elephant wasn't really mad and wasn't trying to kill, but just wanted to teach a lesson.

Sure did get gored. Initially the tusk went over his body. Then elephant took a step back and came forward with that tusk in center mass. Had to hurt.

Wonder what led up to that. Who in their right mind picks a fight with an elephant? Looks like all was okay in the end.

Except for the rhino's profuse bleeding.

If the rhino could run in the end, indicating there are no broken bones, only soft tissue damage, then there is a good chance it will heal from the ordeal. And most likely won't be so eager to confront elephants in the future.

Not if he tore an artery. Plus "soft tissue" could be part of his feces-filled intestines getting punctured and I'm pretty sure the elephant didn't swab that tusk in alcohol before goring him anyway. He'll be lucky not to get an infection or die from blood loss.
