Suddenly I am reminded of this scene.

i first encountered moloch during an ayahuasca journey in 97.

i had no idea what is was other than it was disgusting.

it's crazy now to see it popping up in so many public places, imo.

That Moloch statue is the one from the groundbreaking early film called "Cabiria". It's the very same one. This park was redone many years ago by Dante Ferretti, who was a protege of Fellini. The "Temple of Moloch" segement of the film may be viewed on You Tube.

i watched some interesting vids over the winter on a channel called ipot1776.

it's on bitchute and rumble.

the guy has a series where he starts following the trail of the old "devil at the cross roads" story and how it mixed into the music scene.
it ultimately winds it's way to berlin and everything that went down between the 2 world wars.

he referenced something during one segment that i feel pertains to your question:

'they' have a belief that the messiah will only return if the overwhelming majority of the population is wholesome and following a divine path OR if the overwhelming majority is on a path of pure debauchery and evil.
