The sonic boom was the air to air missile fired from the F-16 striking the Cessna.

this sounds a lot more plausible than the jet running out of fuel.

That's just plain wrong and stupid. Air to air missiles absolutely do not produce a sonic boom that can be heard 100 miles away.

Two different booms recorded, Persuit aircraft Supersonic shockwave boom & Subsonic Business Jet impact/fuel ignition boom causing the confusion.

I honestly believe you are correct...the MAGA voters are being framed in order to incarcerate them in Gulags.

Hard to believe a pilot with enough experience to fly a light jet would fly over highly protected airspace.

My finally summary on this matter:

Perhaps this was a sonic boom, or a crash. Don't know. But the marked is being missed. Rather than arguing over 'where the noise came from'. Perhaps we should be trying to reason why the pilot was incapacitated? Health problem? Decompression? And whatever the cause, was it an accident or does it point to foul play?

Arguing over the sonic boom vs ordinance vs crash, doesn't answer these questions. And it muddies the water with distracting arguments that don't ask the bigger questions of how and why?

By the way, Cessna jets have been known to have decompression issues as do many private jets. And it's often a maintenance issue because private aircraft are often not as well maintained as commercial aircraft.

The plane crashed over 150 miles from where shaking was reported in Virginia and DC on the earthquake maps.

I'd say it's unlikely that the plane caused that, but nobody can say for certain how far the sound of the crash could possibly travel without knowing the decibels it generated.

The boom was loudest between Annapolis MD and Washington DC. I heard here in Manassas VA 30 miles away from loudest area. Staunton VA is nowhere near us. Forget the Cessna.

No sonic boom carries over 100 miles! I heard what sounded like a rifle rapport, didn't know what it was til logging onto GLP.

No fighter jets in area today. Whatever made that sound wasn't known military.
