Deus Ex predicted the future
The PC game Deus Ex from 2000 made multiple interesting predictions:

1) The first level is set in New York City in the year 2052. If you look at the skyline guess what's missing? The twin towers. The developer's excuse was that they ran out of texture memory, but it's still interesting that the towers were absent only a year before 9/11.

2) Part of the game's plot involves a pandemic called the Grey Death, which was developed by a pharmaceutical company specifically so they could make money selling a vaccine for it. Enough said.

3) Another plot element involves the rise of AI and its increasing control of the world. One of the AI's is developed by a company headed by a multi-billionaire CEO who tries to merge with the AI at the end of the game. Elon Musk and Neuralink anyone?
