nah... what will happen is AI is going to eliminate tens of millions of jobs and then hundreds of millions and then billions.

People will warn about it as they are now, society wont care too much. AI over the next 2-3 years will be integrated and designed across society (this is the latest tech like the internet it will change everything)

You will see mega corporations slow their hiring to a trickle and then stop all together and all new positions will be AI. When down turns happen they will eliminate workers and never hire them back replacing their productivity with that of AI or eliminating 9 workers and having 1 worker with AI do their same tasks.

Secretaries, telemarketers, lawyers, accountants, taxi service, deliveries, translators, analysts, engineers, graphic design, programing/coding this list goes on and on

AI will end up eliminating over half of all the jobs in the industrialized world and unemployment will creep up and up every year as the middle class gets destroyed and stocks will crater since their customers are now broke

To fix the system they just broke they will introduce to you a new economic model. Digital programmable currency, a digital biometric id that will be used for all APS and to log online and for any purchases. This will be linked to a social credit score which will increase or decrease the level/amount of weekly universal background income payments you will receive.

The better of a corporate/government citizen you are the closer to your maximum allotment of money will go into your account. The more detrimental you are the less money and if you are a threat to society they will cut you off entirely and close you out from their system.

Within the next decade you will see this roll out as the economy collapses due to AI. The push for electric is to get everyone on this system. Your cars will soon be mandated to have full self drive feature from the factory for all models and eventually the majority of roadways will be for full self drive mode only.

You have about 2-3 years before the financial crash begins and unemployment start creeping up and eventually surpasses the great depression.

Once society is scared, hungry and lost they will accept this corporate slave system and they will be happy and enslaved within it....
