I don't know if I should be happy or sad by the fact that nobody mentioned my home shitty of Buffalo, NY.

It is a shit hole, but I guess that it's too much of a backwater town to be even considered.

Caulipower were on sale for 99 cents/lb several places here this week. I think the one I bought was around 2.2 lbs.

I buy what is on sale for veggies...which may or may not necessarily be what is in season. Demand can change, there may be multiple seasons (different countries), etc. I rarely have to have any particular vegetable at any particular time. We like asparagus, but when it is $3.99 or more a pound I skip it. It is $.99-$1.99 a few times a year here. The variation in prices in this location based on store, sales and season can be lots!

as a Texan who travels all over the State I would say there are lots of conservatives in Houston and surrounding Austin... Austin also has tons of natural beauty. They're not as bad as you think.

Agreed.....Even in the circle, there are infiltration.....Last time I was in Baltimore was 2014 and it was a never return level shithole.....NYC I visit at least once a month for business.....crime is bad and the police is just barely keeping a lid on it....I own investment property there, but you can't pay me to live there....happy my renters love it tho....LOL....
