Will pay more for the same item across the street at Lowe's. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84984132 He despises Trump and loves Biden too. True story. Really? Boomers are so cheap you'd think the boomer would be going to the cheapest place? Most millennials won't shop in bj's cause of something about them being non union. |

Seemed to be 70% Spanish, then some English. This town isnt know for a large Hispanic pop, so i dont get the purpose. Maybe the store announcements were to hire spanish speaking employees, to be ready for Traitor Joes big invite. |

I boycotted Home Depot a long time ago, it was just too difficult to get any help, bunch of lazy asses working there. I was always told they don't have the thing I was looking for. When I said I looked on their website and it said they had a million of that thing, got the same answer every time, you must have the wrong store. So I started printing the page from their website (before I had a cell phone) and then it was just a different excuse. I asked for help from the manager once because nobody else was interested, and the floor person got snippy with him! In a whiny voice, "yeah we have that but I'll have to go dig through the warehouse". Manager says better get going then. Once I asked where the yardsticks were and not one person had a clue what I was talking about and suggested I go to Staples. |

Wayfair and Loews and Amazon is way better. HD can't compete on line. If you can't compete on line you're done for. |

HD is a small ripple in the upcoming tidal wave of woes. Home prices are dropping like a rock throughout much of the country, the government is out of money, inflation is out of control, and we're dancing with the very real possibility of WW3 with China and Russia. Things are NOT looking good. |

Quoting: wattsun meh just means time to buy, when I left Home Depot 16 years ago the stock was 42 a share now it's 288 I am not cashing out any time soon shit...that's a long time but i would think about cashing out here lol. nobody owns their houses to even need to go to home depot I don't think Home Depot is crashing and burning anytime soon, One Giant hurricane and it will level out. Although I may get when after my daughter graduates. A lot of folks including myself have been waiting for lumber to drop so I might be able to finally afford to repair my deck. I did learn a lot about commodities and markets working there. They really only make money on the Chinese crap they push. The markup on that is insane Ran about every dept then went into Asst Mgr position but once they cut bonuses it was not worth it. I ended up getting a better-paying job in IT Engineering right out of the gate. Yes, I have projects on hold too. Prices are crazy and quality is low. Had no choice but to fix a deck. Had to buy the lumber from a local lumber yard. It cost three times more than the wood we bought last year and it really hurt to have to spend that money but, we didn't want someone to get hurt walking on it. |

The one in my rural area is actually one of the best hardware stores I've ever been to and I usually don't like Home Depots. Anyway the store manager has been coming out and greeting his big ticket customers offering free deliveries, free hot dogs and sodas, and even said I could come in before they open and shop before the store opens to the public. I'm sure I'm not the only one he offered it too. "She isn't real.....I can't make her real" "Somewhere between the sacred silence and sleep...Disorder, Disorder, Disorder" "The World is a business Mr Beale..."
