Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72497887 I like Echo brand 2-cycle equipment, and they have all been removed from the shelves. Only ghey electric battery equipment remains. 2/3rds of the gas-powered lawnmowers have been replaced with ghey electric battery mowers too. Only vaxxed idiots and trans buy that shit. Home Depot is Fucking themselves. I bought an Echo 2 cycle from Home Depot literally yesterday. But I live in a very red state. I would've gotten it from Lowes but they don't sell Echo. The manufacturers have been shifting to electric everything based on left wing Millennial marketing "research." Home Depot and Lowes in my area stock probably 2/3 battery powered landscaping equipment now. They're fine if you live on a tiny lot. 1/2 acre and above you either need extra batteries or something gas powered. The biggest problems with Home Depot vs Lowes are incompetent employees and their inability to keep basic items in stock. 3 months ago I installed a tall throne toilet but I forgot to get a longer water line. Home Depot is a lot closer than Lowes so I went there. They didn't have any. 3/8 to 3/4 inch, 16 inch long standard toilet hose. Nobody was working the plumbing section so I went to ask an employee if they could check to see if they had some in the back. After 10 minutes I found an employee who tried her best to ignore me. So I went to Lowes. In and out in 5 minutes. I was also offered help by employees twice. I agree with you that everything wrong with Home Depot is self inflicted. |

If I need just a couple of items, I’ll spend the extra $2-$3 and shop at Ace. Lowes isn’t any better, and the customer service sucks. When employees see you coming they turn around and rush for the “employee only” break room. |

If they're starting to infest your area, it may be wise to accept a really high offer and relocate somewhere else before it gets bad. That kind of money could get you 200 acres with lake front in a rural area in North Florida (20 minutes to a medium sized city). Low property tax, no state income tax, etc. |

They will import the very same ideas to your state as they supported, voted for in CA, and ran away from. Inevitably, they will flip the politics and it will become another woke shithole. Liberals destroy everything they touch. Sorry. I have a funny story to pass on. Our police force here is fair but strict. I was out near mid-city one day and driving down a steep area on the road, two cars were racing and cutting in and out of traffic. Now the speed limit is 50MPH but these jokers, in lowered Teslas, were going 80 at times. I just started laughing because this is a high ticket area. And sure enough, City police and Sheriffs were chasing them. Traffic moved to the side of the road because of the sirens. It was actually hilarious to see these Teslas trying to outrun the cop cars, which were now on their tails. Then, all of a sudden, the cops hit their brakes and the Teslas ran over spike strips. One spun 270 degrees and the other tried to keep going on rims with sparks flying. A Sheriff car finally performed the PIT maneuver and the Tesla spun 160 degrees. The cops pulled out their handguns and ordered the drivers out. From my vantage point, I could see the one driver trying to hide something. He opened the door, put his hands out, and stepped out. He knelt down and was arrested. The second driver actually tried to run at this point and the Sheriff released the K-9. The driver tried to climb a pine tree near a building but the dog kept nipping his legs and butt. He gave up quickly. There was a passenger in one of the cars and he was also arrested. As they let us drive past, I noticed both license plates……California. All three arrested were black with their pants hanging down. The next day, an article in our newspaper explained these men were wanted in California for weapons violations, drug possession with intent to sell, eluding police, assault and battery, and one was wanted for rape. Now we taxpayers have to pay for them to sit in prison for the crimes they just committed in our state before they can be sent back to California. The one driver I could see trying to hide something, it was a stolen handgun. |
