Be careful with this, i have seen many people who claim "God showed me" approach. They then proceed to say something completely contradictory to the entire Bible.

Imagine being under the influence of something, like everybody, then claiming God is talking to you? If anything it is NOT God.... The Holy Spirit will speak to you through the Word.

Did you not read what I wrote? Not trying to be nasty but everything I said jives was what the Bible says. And he showed me himself.

Always use scripture to back yourself up. Although Satan did use scripture when tempting Jesus. He twisted scripture. We have to be very careful.

First century Christians didn’t need anything. Pray for more faith so we can walk by it. We need nothing physical to help us. Especially nothing pagan.

A Catholic crucifix I can understand. Catholicism is in of itself inherently evil. But that being said I believe that there are people that are saved in the Catholic Church. Jesus said come out from among her my people

You can do research on the background of the cross. Anyway we just focus in our minds about what Jesus shed blood did for us.

The unforgivable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
The reason it is "unforgivable" is that, you need to be open to the Holy Spirit in order to be convicted of sin and thus repent to find salvation.
Without the work of the Holy Spirit, you can not be saved.
So by rejecting him, there is no chance for salvation, thus it is " unforgivable".
Which is also why it is the only "unforgivable" sin.

What we are shown should be in harmony with the Bible. Always pray for discernment so we aren’t deceived.

One example in the Word would be the pharisees and sadducees to claimed Jesus had a demon.

I like this passage about about Jesus’ disciples who wanted to stop a man who was driving out demons like Jesus and wanted to stop him and Jesus said don’t do that. If someone is trying to follow Jesus no one should judge him. He is drawing people to Jesus.
