What is the movie "One" about? Is it about Oneness?
On another subject ~ one of my mostest favorite magazines is Yoga Journal. Interestingly, I'm not the one who can do the yoga positions ~ Magi is! At 81, he can effortlessly still stand on his head. As a young man, he studied Hatha Yoga with Indra Devi.
But what I LOVE about this magazine is its beauty, its sense of stillness and peace. It has beautiful articles. I just surfed to the magazine's website (for the first time), and found this "daily insight". The whole thing for some reason isn't there (new website?) ~ but the few words I did find are absolutely intriguing to me.
What intrigues me about these words is that, in the practice of Sant Mat (Surat Shabd Yoga) ~ the idea is *no thoughts* ~ *non-mind* ~ transcending thoughts into nothing and No-Thing. (Magi and I are both Sant Mat.)
And then, just when I almost "get there" ~ my Magi perks up with his Mars in Gemini (neverending talk... talk... talk... ideas...) hahaha!
All-That-Is (Creation) is SO funny ~ so much fun. So much laughter, so many tears, Life... precious Life.
And Nrg... and the precious new little life ~ Little Big Man Richard Thomas ~ born in 2008, on the lip of New Worlds... already seeing between them.
Babies ALWAYS know. It's behind their eyes. Always.

Speakers in the fiml include Deppak Chopra, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, a Native American Medicine Man, Thich Nhat Hanh, Ram Dass, Father Thomas Keating (who taught the teacher who taught my Father about Contemplative Prayer - changing my Father's life forever), Barbara Marx Hubbard, Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee of the Sufi Order, everyday people, etc... The Dali Lama donated music he made with a famous conductor, in which he talks about Compassion to be used in the film. It's simply breath-taking. I recommend it to everyone and anyone. If you can't buy it now let me know and I'll send you the copy to borrow or I'll buy you your own (if you love it).
The place of Silence. Oh, I do understand it, though I so often mearly touch my fingertips to it. My mind is always exploding with thoughts... Chuck tells me just enjoy everything as it is. Just be with it. He can relax himself so that way. I have taken a dive into it sometimes, but I am a work-in-progress when it comes to making it my all.

Speaking of, Wasayo~Astrolabe, what is your meaning to life? I feel the answer to this question, for the individual, has been such a healing experience for me.
