The worst mass murder at a school in US history occurred in Minnesota in 1927.

No gun was used.

It has definitely gotten better. I attended a small Christian college from 1988-1992 and there were a lot of kids there that had been homeschooled. The majority of the homeschooled kids were kinda weird/socially awkward. There were also some that freaked out about all the "sin" that was going on at the college. I feel like those kids had been so sheltered that reality was very hard to cope with.

Good point! Being a parent should mean being invoved with family. Teachers often have non-traditional backgrounds these days and are often happy to teach those as part of their school day. Home schooling takes that potential away.

Depends which denomination runs the school, at least for us it is. Our local Christian K-12 is the best thing I ever did for my son. If you have some different ones around your area shop around. But of course homeschooling is a perfect option, some people don’t have the ability to do this though.
