In real life you can't print money and bail your banks out forever. In Sept 2019 the "plunge team" started bailing out overnight markets - billions per day. Trump was president but there were no cries of "bailouts for the rich" - no mass media coverage . Event 201 to wargame a pandemic happened the next month. The first covid cases were in the months after that.

The dollar is the "reserve currency" because nations keep large quantities in "reserve" - If you see China etc selling the reserves to buy oil and other goods then you know they are trying to exit the dollar and get what value they can from it before it collapses. This is already happening if you care to look at the data.


This will increase inflation as those dollars find their way back to the US - as no one else takes them..

Eventually the Saudis say " we no longer take dollars for oil" ( What did you think all of those wars in the middle east were for -- they were to keep the Oil trade in dollars - ie. the petro-dollar)

When this happens I suspect panic selling of dollars begins, and we get the wheelbarrows of cash stage. .
then they offer the "solution" of CBDC...

Is there some reason you think Russia and China can't supply them with what they need? Saudis can't help the dollar is being debased, and they have no reason to keep trading in dollars when the currency is declining. The US had to keep fighting wars in the middle east just to convince the Saudis to stay using the dollar. They will take dollars with other things for a while, and then one day will say, nope.
