So every single group gets busted and ruined in court before they could ever act out. Plus the whole 1776 shit was when the government and the people all had cannons and muskets etc... Now the people have guns while the government has D.E.W.s, Nukes, Jets, Drones, Tanks, Biological weapons, and so on.... For people to have stood up against the American government it would have had to been 70+ years ago. People severely underestimate how far the American Government would go against its own citizens to ensure it does not get overthrown.

This is EXACTLY what is happening. These are protests by the massive Israeli Left against judicial reforms that will take power away from them and put it back in the legislature where it belongs. Like our Left they want to rule by judicial fiat rather than the People in general voting on laws.

Âs I understand it, their Left (and it is a very left wing society) is up in arms because Netanyahu wants to have a judicial reform that would take power away from the courts. Their supreme court would not be able to make absolute rulings, they would be subject to overrule by a simple majority vote of Their parliament. Also judges rulings in general would be subject to review and overrule.

This would remove the power of the judicial branch to make law, which we have seen in abundance in our country and would put law making power back in the legislature - where it belongs.

That's the bit of am explanation I have seen. You will note these protests are NOT being explained by our media. The Left wants the judicial to retain their power because that is how they frequently force their will in the public especially when it comes to LGBT issues.... Just as happens here.

We should hope that Netanyahu succeeds and that we can follow his reforms.
